Is it possible to give zero stars for a hotel? Where to start... Upon check-in the managers grilled me about whether I had a pet, insisting that they would be checking up to find out. Weird... was my first thought but okay. When we got to our room there was literally no internet connection so I went and asked for a different room. The second room stank of weed, but the connection was better (not good, but marginally better) I decided to ask if it was possible to change my booking from six nights to one because of these issues and was told no. A couple nights later I started feeling sick in the car, tried my best to make it back to my room but ended up throwing up over the handrail into the parking lot. As I was getting something from my car the manager of the hotel came over and SCREAMED at me that she was calling the cops because I hadn’t cleaned it up since I was sick. She told me I needed to check out tomorrow and that she would be charging me extra for getting sick. Her husband took the time I was in the car to enter my room and walk around, I suspect looking for the pet they thought I was hiding. I also want to mention that in the two days I’ve been here so far I’ve been staying on the second floor while most of the rooms are on the first & I have never once seen them take sheets in or out of rooms while they clean.... Gross. Literally, these people are crazy. I wish I could leave here early without losing a bunch of money but I’m not going to pay & then have to pay somewhere else. If I could attach a video I would be able to show proof of her screaming. This hotel should be your absolute...
Read moreZero Stars. These people are crooks & put my health at risk. This place is dirty, disgusting and outdated. Bedding was dingy and smelt sweaty as if they made up the bed after the last guest slept in it. All my windows were unlocked & one even cracked open. On check in they asked for my card I used to book through Priceline & wrote down my card number. I asked him politely that I don't want him doing so and took my card back, I was told it was for incidentals. 🤨 Housekeeping service? NO. Found syringes and garbage throughout my room, under the bed and mattress and upon talking to the rude man from front desk about it(the owner) wouldn't accommodate my request for a room change even though they had the Vacancy sign lit up in the front as I was told they would send someone to clean it the following day. The owner obviously didn't care nor wanted to be bothered by it. I Did not stick around after that and found another hotel to stay at. No wonder it was so cheap. They refused to refund me since I paid in advance for a week & only stayed 2 nights. Priceline was no help retrieving my refund either after sending them all the photos of this disgusting room, all they did was apologize and tell me that it is up to Pinewood Inn to decide to return my refund- of course they Didn't and even had an attitude when inquiring about additional charges to my debit card- they told me "it's Tax" and hung up abruptly. $26 Tax charge on top of taking out the $360 charge for the 2 days I stayed? Makes no sense. Whatever, my health is more important than staying around to get hepatitis. I advise you all to avoid...
Read moreThis was our worst motel/hotel/inn stay ever. They let us check in a few hours early for a reason….. they had plenty of vacancies. ||We were here for 3 nights. I regretted booking this place minutes after we checked in and saw the room. It was a terrible decision.||They put us in one of the upstairs rooms. Advertised as having AC, there was NO AC, and just a dinghy standing fan. Nights were hot with just a fan blowing air at you while trying to sleep. ||Terrible decision #2 - there was nowhere to put my bag so I grabbed the ironing board without looking and what do you know - there was a GIANT BLOODSTAIN on the board. We were disgusted beyond belief. Looked like it was used as a murder weapon at some point. ||The shower floor also had a drop of blood at the corner where the water doesn’t really touch. ||There are sketchy individuals that stay here. There was another guest that kept trying to break into his own car throughout the night. Car alarm went off 4+ times. ||On the last night, a group of guys checked in late and started partying next door. Lots of beer, loud music, chatting into the night. Around 3am someone tried to open our door.||The housekeeper will go in everyday because there is no Do Not Disturb sign to hang outside the door. They took our can of Lysol (probably by mistake but still).||The only thing that was good was that the linens and towels looked clean for the most part. But I highly do not recommend and just avoid this place...
