Based on the other reviews, it is very evident that your experience is based on the room and building that you stay in. They have several buildings. It appears that they absorbed at least one adjacent hotel. Most of the buildings appear to be in poor condition. The fences are falling down or missing parts. We looked behind one fenced in area and saw garbage all over the ground. One building looked a little on the slum lord side. Apparently, that is where monthly tenants stay. The siding and exterior areas looked like they were in need of attention. Garbage overflowed from the trash cans. The "sidewalk" and parking lot between the buildings was icy and very slippery. It had not snowed yet. I never saw any salt or other precautions done to fix this situation. The inside of our building needed updating. The furniture was too big in the room, so it made it almost impossible to use the microwave and fridge. There was obvious patchwork done on the walls or areas that needed to be repaired (or repaired better). We had a table with one chair. It would have been nice to have two chairs, so both my wife and I could have eaten at the table. I believe there was a wall mounted sink (it was a sink, with no vanity). There was no place to put my toothbrush or other bathroom essentials. There was no place to hang towels. The shower was small. I am 6 ft 2 inches and I barely fit into the shower. It was so small that it was hard to move around, once you got into the shower. There was no bath tub, which was okay. The bathroom tiles were brokenā¦lots of the tiles were broken. There was no ice machine or laundry located at our building. We had to walk to the main building, which is something you donāt want to do late at night, when your tired, or when it is cold, or icy. Breakfast was in the same area. Breakfast was okay. There were no complaints with that. The cleaning staff was nice. The hotel was close to the Heavenly Village. The bottom line is, that for the price, there are better options, such as the Hard Rock Hotel or other hotels in the same area. The hotel is in disrepair and needs some love. It has potential; however, I do not recommend it...

When I drove up to this hotel, I thought āthis looks quite good for the priceā. That was until they told me during check in that my room was in their āother buildingā (located on the next block with a separate parking lot). This āother buildingā is much more run down than the main hotel - there are no facilities (no ice maker, laundry or vending machines) and the rooms are basic (the bathroom didnāt even have a ventilation fan). Every step the people on the floor above took felt like an earthquake - I was genuinely concerned they were going to fall through the floor. The parking is limited (one night when I got back from dinner, the parking was full. I had to park in the main hotelās parking lot and walk a block back to my room).
This āother buildingā used to be a different motel called the āFair Bridge Innā. It appears to have been purchased by Choice Hotels and half heartedly converted into part of the Econo Lodge with minimal effort/ expense. It is an entirely separate property.
It was nice that they offered a breakfast at the main hotel. However, effort here was minimal too - on one of the days there was no cereal available. When asked about this, the person on reception said it was because they had āno bowlsā. Iām all for being understanding about things, especially at budget hotels, but to lack such a basic breakfast element like this is...
