We stayed in a studio suite with a queen bed and a sofa bed. Even though our room is only once floor up, the stairs is very far from it. If you have a lot of luggages, you will be discouraged to bring them up. I would ask for a lower floor next time. Our stay was comfortable and really loved the double shower heads, and we were able to cook in their mini portable electric stove. There's a coffee maker but they don't stock coffee by default. Breakfast choices were boiled eggs, coffee, donuts, oatmeal, slice bread, half bananas and sliced oranges. What's weird though is the flooring. The bed is on a higher floor than the living area and then you step down a couple of steps to go to restroom.

Stayed here for 2 nights in August 2024 and loved it! Everything was great: the booking & communication over the email was smooth, the check in was very fast, the room was amazing, the bathroom was very good, everything was clean. The TV, the couch, the curtains, everything was perfect. I didn't expect such great amenities but they were beyond my expectations. There was even complimentary pop corn, breakfast, and free bycicle rental. It's also very close to several good restaurants you can walk to. I'll definitely be coming back to this specific hotel next time I visit Lake Tahoe. I just hope they will have available rooms then :) Make sure to book in advance!

This place was Fantastic. If I could give more stars I would. The pricing was good based on location and everything they provide. We had to stay a bit longer due to severe winter storm. They made sure we were comfortable and were friendly. They even have a good and updated collection of DVDs/BluRays that are available for guests to check out without additional cost. The rooms were very comfortable. And I’ve never seen a hotel with dual shower heads and let me just say that it was the best. The rooms stayed a consistent temperature and never felt cold. Wifi was good enough for basic streaming. Everything was great.

They provide a nice free breakfast of boiled egg, peanut butter, jam, butter, fruit, and donuts. The location is walking distance from 7 Eleven and some grocery stores, Heavenly Village where many nice restaurants and shopping places and also the Zip line and Tram way. Beaches are around the place, free admission beaches are busy and by 10 am won’t find a parking spot easily, but other beaches with around $12 admission per car usually easily find a parking spot anytime. The room was well maintained and equipped with almost all we needed for kitchen, bathroom is senior friendly as it has the holding bar near the toilet and a foldable seat in the shower. TV and DVD player are available and also you can borrow max 3 DVDs per time for free. Laundry is available during the working hours for free and you bring your own detergents. Small Gym room also available for free. A swimming pool is open during the working hours and water is cold, but beside it a small heated bathtub jacauzzi is nice for relaxing. BBQ grills are available for free and they give you the tools you need. Also, each day they have activities for kids, kids area, and free board games. The place is pet friendly and a pet park at the back. One of the best things here is front desk staff, the young lady was so helpful, smiling all the time, cheerfully welcoming, and when I called her to ask how to check in after 9pm she was very helpful and gave me all info needed. Room service is buy booking, but whenever you need them...

Americana Village is a diamond in the sea of hotels in South Lake Tahoe. I have to admit, I was hesitant at first because it's listed as a 2-star hotel. But it was better than many 4 & 5 star hotels I've stayed at. Why? The attention to detail is unmatched. We stayed for 7-nights, they had everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen, all appliances, extras such as dishwasher soap and a fresh sponge. Laundry room with a nice gym! Great parking and an activity center with breakfast every morning. They even have a dog park for our dog. The room was spotless clean, and the bed was comfy. All the staff members are SO nice, and always going out of their way to say hello and help you with whatever you need. We had to work a few days during our trip, and the Studio suite was great because it had a table and a living room area where we could work from. A huge bathroom was also very nice. It snowed for 2 days while we were there, and the snow was removed multiple times during the day so we could go out with our car without issue. We saw lots of families which we can understand why, it's such a family friendly property. We loved this hotel so much we plan to come back in the summer. We met multiple people who visit the hotel multiple times a year because it's so fun. We can't wait...

The motel itself is great. The rooms are comfortable and updated nicely. The groundskeepers keep the place clean and the plants looking nice. The biggest issue is parking. Nobody tells you that if you are going to some event or something for the evening you should Uber or walk because when you get back later in the evening the parking lot is packed, literally, with cars. They are blocking the driveway and filling up any free space you can find. Only one car could move through the parking lot at a time because cars were blocking the other lane. We had to park off site because the there wasn’t any place to park. It sucked! When I told the front desk about the situation the next morning and how they should tell someone ahead of time what could happen she just looked at me and with a blank stare said “oh.” I had called the after hours support that night and she didn’t sound surprised at all and said that they just advice people to park next to the pool or around the activities center so they are well aware of how bad parking is and don’t feel the need to warn people that they should leave their car for the evening if they’re going to be out for the night. That is really poor customer service but apparently isn’t a problem because there’s no end of tourists...
