I like that it was on the main strip me and my wife stayed there on July 5th we made a reservation we were going to get the king size with the jacuzzi in it it was going to be like almost $500 for one night we downsized to just a queen bed basic and that was like a little bit over $200 and something dollars for one night for that kind of price I used to manage motels it was nice that it had a pool and a hot tub that had a cover over the hot tub so you wouldn't get burnt the maid service must be very poor there because the room was dirty I even found like stuff that they didn't find literally in plain sight the walls could be wiped down their stains on the walls the cord that went to the blow dryer was very dirty just the paint could you touch up repaint it just as a former motel manager you know always paint your rooms at least once a year to keep that fresh smell in there and then it was one of the smallest rooms I've ever been in and I've been to a lot of motels when I used to manage all the way from Colorado to Oregon Arkansas Mississippi everything I used to travel for a company and do surprise inspections and this one would fail for cleanliness of the rooms and very outdated. I checked the bed and because of the room being so dirty I was actually scared that there might be bed bugs I did not find any but I still had a difficult time sleeping because of just I've been in a lot of motels from my previous job . For the price that they charge for the rooms specially we were about to get the king with the jacuzzi for $500 I would have been very mad looking at the way the rooms looked I was kind of mad pain as much as we did and that room looking the way it did and the remote for the TV really didn't work the volume they should invest in upgrade in their rooms you know very outdated could use fresh paint just could be a lot nicer if they took the time to care about their rooms the room price is very high they should invest in...
Read moreThis was our first time in Lake Tahoe and let me begin by saying…WOW! If you’re considering it for a vacation, destination wedding, girls trip, whatever, DO IT! It is stunning. Absolutely beautiful! We were in town for a temporary job for my husband. So we were looking to stay at a place that was nice and cost effective. There are many options on Lake Tahoe Blvd but there are only two I’d recommend for those on a budget and this place is one of them. Nancy was who helped me at check-in and throughout the stay and she is so awesome! She’s kind, friendly and so professional. I explained what I was looking for and she helped me think through whether this was the best place, I told her about some of the other locations I was considering and she even gave ideas to help me decide what was best. The service just simply couldn’t have been better! The rooms are nice. I can tell you think because I walked up and down the strip and I looked at some of the other options. YOU WANT TO GO WITH THIS ONE! There is daily service available to clean the room, the beds are cozy and clean, the water pressure is great, the carpet is clean and the grounds are kept up daily (we were here for two weeks). The pool is heated and our kiddos loved it, there’s a grill and picnic table for use and the guests were all quiet which made the place enjoyable. It is clear that they aren’t just allowing rift raft on the property, as I observed in other places.
The location is FANTASTIC which is true for any of the hotel/motels on this block. It is walking distance, a short scooter ride or a cheap Uber away from s variety of activities like the lake (speed boats, fishing, casinos, grocery).
All in all I give it a glowing review and...

At this price point, I just don't think you're going to find a cleaner and safer hotel (based on reviews, some of the cheaper places in town are nightmare fuel). After all, we just wanted a place to sleep before we went skiing.
Unfortunately, the sleeping experience was awful. The bed was uncomfortable and cratering in the middle. Unlike other hotels, you can't run the heater and constant fan at the same time, so if you want heat (and you need heat in the winter in Tahoe), that means the fan will be cycling on and off all night when the heat goes on.
The property was very quiet (we were there on a Monday night), but at one point, our immediate room neighbors came back around 1am and made a ruckus which we heard very clearly. Other than that is as actually very quiet. We didn't use the hot tub but other people were so it was working.
My partner and I both got terrible nights sleep. I would consider staying here again because of the price, but I'd have to bring a small fan for the noise and my own bedding (both to keep me warm without needing as much heat and to make the bed comfortable enough to...
