Taco Taqueria — Restaurant in South Lake Tahoe

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ANY BURITTOS-NOT MADE TO ORDER. we came here in the evening because around 640pm because a nearby Pho place was packed with poeople and the waitlist was heck of long. When we got there, the place was empty. we ordered one super steak burittos, one large hotcharta, and one buritos plate for my wife, 1yr toddler, and myaelf. We love eating at Taqueria branches as their buritoss are so good, but this place is definitely NOT THE SAME AS OTHER TAQUERIA, and obviousely not the same franchise. Cute little place, and exceptionally clean!

My buddy wanted to stop at 7-11 before the mountain drive to Reno. I saw there was a taco shop next door, so I ran in and grabbed a couple tacos for everyone.

I tried the Al Pastor and Carnitas tacos. They were both fantastic! It comes a little different than typical...for example, the tacos come with just meat on the tortillas and you get a side of onions and cilantro, salsa rojo, salsa verde and Pico de Gallo.

The tacos were very very filled with tender flavorful piggy chunks!

Plus, I got our tacos before my buddy could get a lotto ticket. That's fast!

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with a recent experience at your establishment. On Friday, May 2, 2025, some of my employees visited your taco shop for lunch while on company business in the area.

I was very disturbed to learn that the employee working at the time treated my staff in a discriminatory and unacceptable manner. They were reportedly told they were not welcome and that they could not afford a soda.
