The cabins are an overpriced gimmick. They're on busy rt 20 in the middle of the city. They don't have modern a/c... instead they have one noisy interior a/c unit with exhaust vented outside. We slept with the windows open because the a/c was so loud, but the cabins are so close together and next to a fence to a different motel's parking lot that no breeze would come through. It was low 40s out, and at 3am, the bedroom was still +70°.

This is hardly a two bedroom cabin. Instead, it is a two room cabin, with a walkthrough bedroom (with no a/c at all) to get to the bathroom. There are zero closets in the whole cabin.

They don't have cots, so you're stuck with the two full (?) sized beds.

The kitchenette has a small microwave, dorm fridge/freezer, and coffee maker, but it does not have any plates, utensils, etc. Just a few plastic, disposable cups. There's a high top table with 4 bar stools, but no reading chairs or couches.

The "porch" barely fits a small table and two chairs and has a view of busy rt. 20 and the parking lot (if you're lucky to get one of the few spaces there before you have to park in the sketchy, poorly lit, gravel lot behind the "family" cabin).

You'd be better off with a hotel room with two queen beds. We walked by a holiday inn that looked much more appealing.

On the plus side, with the a/c running all day, the cabin hasn't overheated while we were out, and the WiFi is good (although not secure... they gave us a passcode, but we didn't have to enter it to access the WiFi). There's also DirectTV, not that we're here enough to watch it.

The pictures are while sitting at the high top table with my back against the wall. On looks into the bedroom (the bathroom door is out of view to the right). The other looks at the bed in the room with the...

This place is all the things we want our lodging to be:|Dog friendly|Clean|Comfortable bedding|Great air conditioner (& great heater - we needed both!)|Easy access & parking close to your room door|Convenient to community amenities|Great shower & tub||I was slightly concerned about not having a staffed front desk, but these folks did all the advance planning so everything we could possibly want or need during our stay was available in our room, without our having to ask a human. The in-room screen allowed for check in & check out at a touch, & local recommendations were provided via that same wall-mounted device. Simple! The complementary bottled water & candy were a nice touch. Plan ahead, though, because there is only an ice machine (no soda or snack vending machines) on property. They made great use of a small footprint, without making guests feel cramped or claustrophobic. The dog-walking area is really REALLY small, but the large city park is less than a block away, & there are open areas behind the property for a non-grassy walk. Note: we stayed in the motel building, not one of the cabins.||The only downside I should mention is that check in isn't until 4PM but check out is at 10AM. Such an early check out barely gave us enough time to grab breakfast & get packed up on our last morning. It's do-able, not a deal breaker obviously, but an extra hour would've been nice.||I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a simple, convenient, clean "home base" for all the adventures this area has to offer. This will be our go-to lodging whenever we return...

So let me start by saying if we had stayed only one night my review might be better, but we stayed for 3 nights so all the little things start to add up! The Bad: if booking thru ARBNB- $400 a night after all fees etc ( my bad should have done more research!!) The room was ok , large floor air conditioner takes up space that would be better suited for a small table and chair so you don’t have to sit on bed to eat. One side chair is in the room which I would replace with a comfortable chair. Internet is not secure anyone walking by can log in . TV does not get any network stations live broadcast. No fan in the bathroom, definitely signs of mold on our window trim. Smoke alarm went off at 1230 at night waking up the building we were in with 9 other units, they went off again at 630am the 2nd morning. There is a flat screen display in room for information, you can put it to sleep, I like it dark, in the middle of the night it does a SW update so turns on blue screen and then shut off after a few minutes. Parking, there are about 6 spots right out in front of the rooms nice but folks car beeping and doors are constant. The rest of the parking is on a dirt lot behind the hotel.

Good: Room is OK think old roadside Motel which has been slightly upgraded with small fridge( a little loud when it turns on) microwave and coffee maker. mattress is comfortable, small bathroom. Clean. Ice machine! A/C worked well, but space could be better used by adding a table and getting a better AC than...

Room: Pros, This is a you get what you pay for scenario. It’s nothing special. The self check in was simple and easy, the room size was enough for the two of us and it served the purpose Cons, The room in winter isn’t very well insulated so I think you might be able to hang meat in the bathroom. We didn’t try though. The bed needs a mattress topper, the curtains need replaced and the holy towels should go to church! Service: Pros, the overall self check in and such was easy and the wall concierge was helpful. Cons, YNP cancelled all snowmobile traffic into the park the day before our trip. This was the whole point of our travel. When I contacted customer service the ONLY option they would offer is for us to move the trip to another weekend. Due to our schedules, the availability of the Bucking Moose on VRBO and limited time off we had no other options. They were very serious about no cancellation no refund. I understand for many reasons why but when all other options for our reason to come down were booked out for weeks it was kind of a waste for us. We left a day early. Location: only pros for this. You can walk to almost everything could think of and it was pretty quiet for being on a main road.

This review is specifically for the Wolf Suite #1. The room overall has a cozy feeling to it. With two beds, electrical fireplace, sink, fridge, microwave and a decent sized bathroom, it offers a nice space for small family. What lowered the rating for us was the fact that it shares a space with a loft. You will hear every movement your upstairs neighbor makes form walking around to shifting in bed. It made it hard for us to sleep at night with the constant squeaking. In addition, this room is next to a main road, be prepared to hear cars driving by at all hours. For the price we paid, this was a major disappointment. On our second day there, water leaked from the ceiling above the dining area. Maintenance was able to confirm the issue fairly quick and the staff was courteous. Also, the Wi-Fi is public and can be used by anyone walking by. I would not connect any personal devices during your visit.
