WoW! After a day of YELLOWSTONE we stumbled upon a hidden bus with a Mexican Food Sign. What's a Find right outside West Entrance of Yellowstone! Most Deliciously Authentic at a price that beats out competition. Shared the Al Pastor Sope, chicken enchilada, carne asada taco, Al Pastor mulita, & milanesa plate. They have 2 spicy levels: Non-Spicy (3 out of 10) & So Spicy it will stand hairs and get you sweating (8 out of 10). I loved the roastedness of the latter. Their enchilada is made with a very mild red sauce. Totally recommend eating inside and listening to the Matriarch running the show or making conversation with whoever is inside. Their passion and love is tasted with every bite. A must stop for everyone visiting the area. BTW we usually don't, but had to take the same order TO-GO! Saluzita y...
Read moreWe came looking for gold--in search of a frail man's treasure tucked somewhere deep in the outskirts of Yellowstone--and instead we struck a Mexican geyser. Food so fantastic, that in comparison with Montezuma's own riches and vast cultural delecasies one would prefer they be left forgotten, so bidding a meal a day be consumed at Taqueria Malverde.
This bus is authentic, artistic and most importantly, itself. The food is cooked with love and delivered as Jesus himself would prefer. Paper plates and underappreciated plastic forks are your sword and armor, your stomach is The Chosen Land.
This restaurant gives you a piece of itself and in return, all they ask is for a dozen dollars a dish and a message such as this. Live free, eat...

After driving almost 3000 miles and being on the road for 50+ hrs, this was the comfort we needed and the welcome we never expected.
We sat there for almost 2 hrs soaking in the experience and couldn't help but be thankful for the great food before heading into Yellowstone for the...
