Disappointed in every way possible, DO NOT STAY HERE. We were traveling in a party of 20 people, and booked several rooms here for 2 nights. Upon initially entering the room, I noticed that not even the cute decor in the room could distract away from the noise. Even with doors and windows closed, the walls are paper thin and the street noise made me feel like I was standing on the middle of a highway, and I could hear everything anyone in any neighboring room was doing: walking, talking, coughing, trying to watch tv (the television reception was terrible, as was the WiFi)…. EVERYTHING. Not going to lie, initially, it felt really sketchy. But it was what we could get, so we decided to power through. TERRIBLE mistake!! Beds were terribly uncomfortable, the shower/bathtub was TINY, Breakfast the next morning was extremely disappointing… all of the food available smelled and tasted weird, so I decided to go with a simple bowl of cereal. Can’t go wrong, right? Well, I poured myself a bowl, filled it with milk and when I looked down at it, I realized my bowl of cereal was also filled with hair…. Never mind, I guess I’ll go hungry. We left for the day, only to discover when we returned that the few rooms in our group that had been visited by “cleaning” services were not only not cleaned, but that all of the possessions that had been left in bags were now scattered all over the floor, and personal items missing. I have gone through and read several other reviews recently given, and I have discovered that we are not the only people with this type of experience… staff and management was completely unhelpful and honestly rude when we brought this to their attention, essentially accusing us of lying and telling us it wasn’t his problem, because they trust their staff more than they do us. Then the next morning, housekeeping came and knocked on our door at 8:00 AM…. Not only is that way too early, but no thank you, I don’t need anyone rummaging through my personal items and taking whatever they desire. Zero out of ten, WOULD NOT recommend. I haven’t stayed at any of the many surrounding hotels, but I can pretty much guarantee you’ll get a better experience at...
Read moreWe stayed here one night while visiting in Yellowstone Park. Check-in was quick and easy. There are two sets of laundry machines in the registration building which we used. There is also a large breakfast area. Breakfast was very generous with muffins, cereal, grapefruit, yogurt, eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, biscuits, as well as coffee and juice. The ladies working there did a great job of trying to keep everything filled as everyone came in for breakfast at one time on their way into the park.||We had a room with two queen beds. The bed were comfortable. When we arrived in our room, the heat was on and it was about 72° in there but the good air conditioning quickly remedied that situation. There was a nice fridge and microwave cabinet that was very convenient although we did not need to use it. The area with the vanity was large, bright and spacious. There was even a corkscrew mounted to the wall for a wine opening emergency. Towels were really extraordinary— large and fluffy, and the shower had good water pressure.||There was an indoor pool which we did not use. I would definitely stay here again if we returned...
Read moreWe chose this hotel based on Google reviews & boy we were pleasantly surprised when we checked in. One of the best hotels we have stayed EVER. The hospitality and service provided by the staff are beyond exemplary and even above than a 5-star hotel in my opinion. Rooms & linen were so clean and done every night without even us asking for it. A big shout out to Ernesto who was our housekeeper. Breakfast was awesome and it was nice to get it hot on 2 snowy and chilly mornings. Well laid out and serviced well. We stayed here for 3 nights with a 8-yr old & 4-yr old twins..
Thank you Hernan (at front desk) for suggesting nice restaurant nearby and a place to buy cake for my son's birthday. You're awesome, with a smile always & for making us feel at home-away-from home. My kids did not want to leave the hotel & go home 😂 for the 1st time EVER. To us that said a lot about Crosswinds' hospitality !!
Very close/2-3 mins drive to Yellowstone Park West entrance. 2 Gas stations at walking distance and on the way to the park.
Crosswinds is THE PLACE we'll be staying whenever we are in Yellowstone...
