We looked it up online but called to make the reservations because there were only 2 rooms left and we needed both rooms. We saw a few photos online. It looked really cute. The previous reviews also helped us make the decision to stay here. We were SO glad we did!!! We opened the door and were very happy. Very nice, updated rooms, had everything we needed: small fridge, microwave, a super neat air conditioner/heater unit that worked GREAT to cool the room down. The flat screen TV was a very nice addition to the quaint outdoor decor. The beds and pillows were also nicely sized and VERY comfortable.
The couple who manage the motel were beyond helpful (giving us great recommendations on where to eat) and very friendly. My husband's sister's family stayed in a room there also. Their toilet overflowed and the manager's wife was so helpful in bringing extra towels right away and big plastic bag to put the wet towels in. She made them feel at ease in an embarrassing situation and profusely apologized for the messy toilet even though it wasn't her fault!
It's an easy walk to everything in town and only 5 minutes from the entrance to Yellowstone Park.
It is also a super great value compared to all the other mom & pop motels in town which are way overpriced and the reviews on them are horrible. Check in desk has great choc chip cookies. Parking was in front of your room door. Parking is quite tight so if you're driving a big truck, I'm not sure where you'd park. I'm sure they'd accommodate you somehow though and let you know in advance. The manager was very professional and polite in letting us know UP FRONT in advance when we booked the rooms that they only had 2 rooms left and one of them was room #1 and right next to the busy road. He warned us that it can be very noisy during the night. My husband and I always bring ear plugs on trips just in case of things like that. I wore mine that night but my husband and sons said they slept great! Also, room #1 is a little bigger. I loved the extra love seat and vanity area outside the bathroom so more people can get ready in the morning more quickly.
We would absolutely stay here again the next time we come up for a visit to the park. We have 2 big teenage sons and they loved it as well. Out of all the places we stayed, including a Best Western in Pinedale and several places inside the park, this was the BEST. We loved it. Excellent job to the hard-working couple who own this very comfortable motel. We will recommend it to everyone we know who are...
Read moreThis is sorely overdue, but my mom and I had THE best experience with our stay on 4/29/2024! Unbeknownst to us, there was a booking error (tech issue while driving along I-90) and no record of our reservation when we showed up around 7pm at Evergreen. Shanice and Quewane were calm and reassuring, did a little shuffling, and had us each in a room within 10 minutes. They'd also given us a few restaurant recommendations for dinner, which were great options.
The rooms were fantastic- spotless, quiet, very comfortable, sized well, parking directly in front, bright bathroom with great water pressure, and we slept amazingly. The only slight ding was that there wasn't a fan in the bathroom so had to crack the bath window to handle shower steam (not ideal when it was mid-20s and snowing), but that's an easily ignored detail compared to how wonderful all else was in the experience. Shanice was there again in the morning at checkout, offered us tea or cocoa for the road as we headed out, and just all-around was the sweetest and most helpful hostess.
Summary: We loved our stay, as well as its proximity to the brewery and park, and I'll be booking here again in a heartbeat when visiting West Yellowstone...
Read moreIf I could give lit more stars, I would. One of the best lodging experiences of our entire MT & WY trip! The lobby was welcoming and stocked with M&Ms free for the snacking. Need I say more? No, but I will. Both staff members we interacted with were delightful. Seriously, they seemed happy to be there and to help us. My boyfriend needed a package on our trip and had it mailed to the Evergreen. They were super accommodating and his package was waiting for us in our room already. The rooms were SO cute and clean. The bath towels were clean, fluffy, and smelled good. The rooms had all been recently renovated and were clean. We stayed here during the height of summer and the room AC worked like a charm — probably the best night’s sleep we got on the trip. The bed was very comfy. The staff even left us a personalized, handwritten welcome note in our room complete with hand-drawn weather forecast! Come on!!!! Everything about our stay here was excellent. It’s in perfect waking proximity to most things in West Yellowstone. We loved it and will be recommending it to anyone traveling...
