The food is the only good thing about this place now. Customer service has gone out the window. Kellie our server was very rude and was quickly annoyed with us after we asked about a few items on the menu. The place was not packed nor crowded as we stopped by around 7pm. In no way were we trying to waist time, but answering a few quick questions was to much for her. After figuring out what we wanted, and before we had a chance to tell her she huffed off saying "look guys I don't have time for this, I'll come back to you later." She did come back later, 5 minutes later as we were about to leave. We told her exactly what we wanted and she brought our check with the food. She never stopped again to check on us or see if refills were needed. After eating and leaving cash for the check, as we were on our way out she would not even look at us as she was picking up drinks for another table. We said thank you, but she would not even acknowledge us. The way we were treated made this family landmark where we have always stop at on our way to Montana, the last place on our list to ever visit again. Owners should never allow employees to act like this. As it's a tourist town I'm sure we didn't matter to them... Just another couple who took a total of no more then 2 minutes of their servers time.

I’ll start off by saying the pizza was good. My boys ordered it and I tried a bit. It was salty and too doughy for me, but my boys like that style. Also, our waitress was super nice and friendly. I got the Caesar salad. I’d like to warn anyone away from ordering this. The lettuce had a grey tint. They obviously tried to cover this up by adding so much dressing that the lettuce was also soggy. Because of all this dressing, it was incredibly salty as well. I ate a few bites but was afraid I’d get sick from the lettuce being so old. I did not/could not finish this. I have never been unable to eat a meal from any restaurant before. Today was my first time. Absolutely horrible quality food. Expensive, too. I wish we had just gotten McDonalds, and I hate McDonald’s in the US. This meal made me so sad. After a day in the park, I was looking forward to a good meal. Do not come here. I should have known when it was the only restaurant with parking still available. It was empty inside too, and it’s a busy June night here. Beware!

Awesome little restaurant. We got pizza, ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza but unfortunately they only brought us out a pepperoni. The waitress apologized and asked if they could cook the sausage separately and just sprinkle on top of the pizza, but we were not into that idea. The pizza was okay, definitely tasted like your average pizza crust, probably frozen dough. It's also pretty pricey pizza, but that is a given since it is an extremely touristy area. We went in about 4pm I believe, and it was not busy at all. We went on a Friday night in June and we were still able to get a seat right away without waiting. The wait staff were all extremely nice. The restaurant itself is pretty cool, the atmosphere is very nice, plenty of tables. My only complaint is that the pizza was average. Nothing special.

it isn't your fancy fine-dining establishment, but it delivers exactly what it promises: delicious food, a fun atmosphere, and family-friendly vibes. Here's why you should consider grabbing a bite at Gusher's:

Something for Everyone: Gusher's menu caters to a variety of tastes. Their pizzas come in all the classic combinations and allow for customization, perfect for satisfying picky eaters and pizza enthusiasts alike. The extensive sandwich selection offers options for those seeking something beyond pizza. Don't forget to check out their appetizer selection, with tempting choices like mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and fresh-fried delicacies.

Casual Comfort Food Done Right: Gusher's doesn't try to be something it's not. They focus on classic American comfort food done well. Expect juicy burgers, hot dogs, and satisfying salads made with fresh ingredients. It's the kind of food that hits the spot after a long day exploring Yellowstone.

Family-Friendly Atmosphere: The unpretentious décor and friendly staff make Gusher's a welcoming place for families. Kids will love the variety of options on the menu, and parents will appreciate the affordable prices and relaxed atmosphere. There's even a casino attached (open to those 21 and over) for some adult entertainment after the little ones are fed and happy.

Hidden Local Gem: While West Yellowstone has plenty of tourist traps, Gusher's feels like a local hangout. You'll find friendly service from folks who seem to genuinely enjoy serving their customers. This local touch adds to the overall charm of the restaurant.

Great Value for Money: In a tourist town like West Yellowstone, finding good food at affordable prices can be a challenge. Gusher's strikes a perfect balance, offering generous portions of delicious food without breaking the bank. It's a great option for families and budget-conscious travelers alike.

Bonus Tip: Gusher's can get busy, especially during peak season. If you're looking for a quieter dining experience, consider visiting for an early lunch or dinner.

Overall: Gusher Pizza & Sandwich Shoppe may not be fancy, but it delivers exactly what it promises: delicious food, a fun atmosphere, and a family-friendly experience. The friendly service, casual vibes, and affordable prices make it a greatgem in West Yellowstone. So next time you're looking for a satisfying and budget-friendly meal, skip the fancy restaurants and head to Gusher's for a taste of local charm and delicious...

The food was not bad. But the service was horrid! We are visiting from out of town and completely unfamiliar with the protocols. When we arrived, there was a sign that said “wait to be seated”. We did. And no one came. They looked busy. We waited. Then a guy eventually came out and asked, “y’all are just waiting for takeout, right?” I said no. He disappeared then came back and said follow me. He had only seen me, and not my large family. I said, “you have room for all 7 of us?” He found 2 tables beside each other and seated us. We ordered. And waited. And waited. Finally the food came. It was good. We ate. We laughed. We choked. We tried to find our waitress (Wendy/ Wen Pan) to refill our drinks, but she was nowhere to be found. We flagged down another waitress. She had to go find our waitress. 15 minutes later she came and asked if everything was alright. We asked for refills. She came right back with those and then disappeared. Meanwhile all the people who had been seated after us, had already received their tickets, paid, and left. Our group was supposed to get 2 separate tickets. She didn’t come. So we had to find her. Of course they had forced gratuity on both tickets. At a high percentage and not the minimum percentage. So I just tipped a waiter wayyyyy too much for not even doing the minimum normal waitress job duties! She of course never came back to collect our pay after giving us tickets. So we walked up to the pay station. She ran the card for one of our tickets. Then asked for the cash on mine. I pointed to the table and she literally physically shoved two of us aside and ran to the table to get the money. I waited for my change. But once again she left. I was still standing awkwardly at the counter/drink station thingy when I caught sight of her and asked where my change was. She immediately ran behind the counter to give me my change. We left. It is not worth it, folks! Not worth it at all. I got a mountain man burger. It was not dry. It was good. In fact all the food was good. But all the food was overpriced and not worth the service frustrations!! Oh yeah and my son ordered Mountain Dew. Which they apparently only carry via cans. So I got charged extra for every refill he got! And I absolutely LOVE that the casino is separated! I only eat at places where the bars and gambling are separated. That...

This place was fantastic. We arrived unannounced to a full restaurant with an extended party of 13, aged from 3 to 64, which seemed to be a few more than the biggest table size could readily accommodate. The gentleman who greeted us seemed a little at a loss, but we asked if we could just squeeze into their adult gaming room (looked like video poker or something like that), which had a couple tables and chairs for about 10, so they just brought us a few extra chairs. The service was quick, and VERY friendly.

The gentleman who served us was either the owner, or a manager, and VERY proud of his establishment, not in a boastful way, but in the way you like to see from someone running a business. You KNOW those people are going to do their best to take care of you.

Various members of our party had pizza, a salad, and several plates of (on that night) all-you-can-eat spaghetti. The spaghetti was delicious, but only 1 of the 4 people that ordered it could eat more than the 1st plate. The others that had pizza and salad were also happy with their meals.

I'd also like to say something about the kids meals: It drives me absolutely nuts that many restaurants that serve good food and charge accordingly skimp so much on the kids meals. Yes, they're cheaper, and thus should be smaller, but many restaurants take this to the point of absurdity (I'm talking to YOU, Marie Calendar's and your silver dollar sized kids hamburger patty on a full sized bun!). This is NOT a problem you'll have at Gusher. Two of my children actually brought over their hamburgers to show us how nice they were. I was pleased.

Now, for transparency, we arrived somewhat ravenous. They gave us good food, fast, with friendly service, and then, to top it off, the bill was more than reasonable. But then again, isn't that what you're...
