Food is decent, but the service is woeful. Literally clueless. We sat outside on the patio after a wait. We ordered 2 of the same meal and a bottle of wine. Simple right?.. Wrong. Food arrived before the wine. Then the drinks arrived and it was wrong. Then the drinks arrived again and it was wrong again. Mine and my wife’s salads were mostly end pieces - like 4 out of 5 pieces of tomato with storks. Then finally we received our correct drinks…. As the main meals arrived, so did a rain and dust storm (obviously not their fault), but I asked a waiter if there were any tables we could move to inside? Without even acknowledging the fact that we were trying to shield our food and drinks from dust and rain, and without turning his head, he waved his hand and muttered something rude. Meanwhile, 2 ladies moved the metal waiting-line chairs under the canopy so they wouldn’t get wet. New customers were still being seated. We requested boxes from the first person who would listen (the check accompanied) and frantically shovelled gritty food and corked our almost full bottle of wine. We finished our dinner in our hotel…. At one point, between my salad and main course, I made a trip to the bathroom. I wish I hadn’t. The kitchen looked chaotic and dirty. There was a cardboard crate of rancid looking tomatoes open on a shelf next to the men’s room. I hope that they didn’t constitute my salad (I’ll update in the morning). There was a pot washer spraying food debris at quite the rate of PSI all over the Perspex plastic shielding between the kitchen and the walkway. Numerous waiters and chefs running around shouting and throwing plates of food. I didn’t have chance to investigate further past my brief passage through the food preparation area… but it left a lot to be desired.
As it turns out, the tables around us had similar complaints. Trust me, this is an experience best...

Now imagine the overwhelming relief when the restaurant manager, Alberto, and the owner, Jeff, personally reached out to assure you that your camera had been found and would be safely taken care of. That was our story. After a week of steaks and burgers at Yellowstone National Park, my family and I were thrilled to discover Pete’s Rocky Mountain Pizza on the last day of our trip. It was a true feast—authentic pizza with a crispy crust and rich toppings, delicious pasta, and savory calzones. The pizza was so good, it rivaled some of the best I’ve had in Chicago, New York, and even Italy. We enjoyed the food and warm service so much that we left the restaurant chatting about how we should make West Yellowstone a regular stop on our future trips. In that moment of joy and distraction, I completely forgot about the camera I had hung on the back of my chair. I only realized it was missing five hours later, at a car rental office in Salt Lake City Airport. When I called the restaurant in a panic, Alberto quickly confirmed they had found the camera. He even sent photos of it and reassured me that they would arrange to ship it back home. Jeff followed up soon after to personally promise that my camera—and the precious memories it held—would be safe. Today, I received my camera, perfectly intact and carefully wrapped, with all our Yellowstone photos inside. Words cannot fully express our gratitude to Jeff, Alberto, and the wonderful team at Pete’s Rocky Mountain Pizza. Their kindness, honesty, and care turned what could have been a heartbreaking loss into a story we will...
Read moreTo be fair we ate here for lunch, the day before and dinner the next night, both times the pizza was great. The crust is perfect for me.
Lunch was pretty good, the place seemed odd to me at first but all was good, and I left a good tip. I actually left my phone there and had to return to pick it up.
The next day my kids wanted pizza and I ordered for pick up. I walked to the restaurant and arrived 20 minutes early and when I tried to let the person outside know I was there for pick up, she just told me to get in line and wait my turn to go in. While waiting for the people in front of me to go into the restaurant to order food I recieved an email that my order was ready. I again asked and told her I recieved an email and asked if I could just go in and pick it up, she again informed me to wait. I told her all I want to do is go in and pick it up. She finally said go ahead.
I went in and saw about 10 people working and only one person taking orders. I told him I had an order ready for pick up and he told me I had to wait. Not sure why nobody else could have taken 10 seconds to help the order guy out and grt my pick up order. They just looked at me like I was crazy.
Why can't someone help out, especially the lady outside just standing there telling people to wait. It took me 15 minutes after I recieved my order was ready email(while I was already at the restaurant) to get my pick up order.
If they are that busy they should have multiple people taking orders and someone dedicated for pickup orders.
Again, the...
