OMG been in Hanoi a few times and booked some nice hotels for the past years but I must say, Dahlia Hotel is the best!
CLEANLINESS - 100% The hotel is not new but they were able to maintain cleanliness and every morning the staff will ask you if you want your room to get cleaned. They give you clean towels and give you water bottles every day even though you can refill water at the dining area for free. Whatever you ask, they are ready to assist.
SERVICE & STAFF - 101% All the staff are super amazing! Very friendly, approachable and helpful! Special thanks to Nas, Steve, Vy and Quinn. Thanks also to the rest of the staff. They speak english well. They allowed us to early check in (earlier than 2 hours) and gave us free bed for my 3yo son. They also helped us to book airport transfer cheaper than grab/uber. Since we wouldnt be able to avail breakfast due to super early check out, the staff prepared a takeaway breakfast for us so we can bring them and eat on the way to airport. So sweet and hospitable. They granted all the requests I put upon booking. Lovely!
LOCATION - 101% The hotel is situated in the best location you could ever ask for - along the street of the hoan kiem/ big building with the aldo in the middle of the Old Quarter Hanoi. We did not even spent so much in transportation since you can just walk in the area going to the tourist spots and street markets. It's super accessible near to everything! Near ATMs/Banks, convenience store (Circle K), restaurants, street food etc. During weekends, the main roads are closed, and night market/store is right in front of the hotel, so amazing!
OVERALL - 101% There are ready drinks available in cheap price in the fridge of the room. Our room has a bath tub so my son had a great time there. Wifi is fast. They have enough breakfast which menu varies every other day only but you can request for some food like chicken noodle soup, pancakes, eggs. Everything you are looking for in a hotel is here in Dahlia and we will definitely coming back here!
Thank you Dahlia, we had an amazing 1 week...
Read moreDuring our recent trip to Vietnam, we had the pleasure of discovering many welcoming and high-quality establishments. Unfortunately, our experience at Dahlia Hotel in Hanoi fell far short of our expectations.
Upon arrival in our room, we were disappointed by its small size and the level of dust present. Additionally, the bedding left much to be desired, with a hard and uncomfortable bed. The water pressure in the bathroom was also very poor, fluctuating unpredictably between hot and cold.
The pinnacle of our disappointment was the breakfast. Instead of enjoying delicious Vietnamese coffee and fresh dishes, we were served with sachet coffee and dry, unappetizing food.
Furthermore, in an unfortunate incident where my friend accidentally broke a poorly placed shower gel pot in the bathroom, we were shocked to find that Dalhia Hotel charged us 200,000 for its replacement. We later discovered that this pot could be found in local markets for less than 50,000, which seemed like a blatant overcharge.
Overall, our experience at Dalhia Hotel in Hanoi was far from satisfactory. Compared to other places we visited during our stay, this establishment leaves much to be desired. We cannot recommend it to other travelers and hope that our feedback will help the hotel improve its offerings...
Read moreTHE WORST HOTEL EVER! We checked in on Dec 30th, 2024 and stayed for two nights so we spent the new years eve there. THERE'S NO HOT WATER in the winter time! We asked the staff and only got the reply that there's nothing they can do about it and no room can be changed..so my 60 years old mom had to take a cold shower in the winter, and she got a serious flu...The TV wasn't working, either. There's no internal lock from the room. Also, the room and the toilet were really dirty. The water even came out from the bathroom to the bedroom. We asked for the refund on the next day, and one of the staff told us they can give us full refund for the first night when we check out. HOWEVER, when we checked out on Jan 1st, 2025, there's a new staff told us the owner of the hotel and staff has been changed on Jan 1st so there's no money left by the old staff. At the end, they didn't give us any refund. I had to keep on reporting to Agoda to finally get the first night refund. What a horrible place and mean people there. Please do not stay at such a terrible place unless you want your trip to get ruined. DO NOT STAY HERE! THEY...
