Sorry but today was not a good experience. We tried to have dinner Friday night. This tiny restaurant has 4 tables. A couple was already there when we arrived. We ordered food and drinks and waited. The owner and the two employees started to work on our dishes and after about 40 minutes, all the dishes were served. Meanwhile we asked repeatedly for our drinks. It was a hot day and we were really thirsty but we had to wait until all the dishes were served and we were well into our meal to finally get the drinks. Pho came out first with loads of meat and nourishing broth that wasn't swimming in oil. Added a little extra pepper, no salt/soy needed. Read moreDefinitely a hidden gem in Hanoi. Get the pho bo. Seriously the best broth I’ve had in my life (and I eat a lot of pho). And the beef was really tasty. Our 3 yr old ate it EVERY time. (We ate here at least once a day, 3 out of the 4 days we were in Hanoi).
The beef stew with French bread was also delicious. You really can’t go wrong with anything on their menu.
The egg coffee is one of the best in Hanoi that I’ve had and so fluffy.
The service is FANTASTIC!
I can’t say enough great things about the food and the staff. Thank you for nourishing us and making us...
