The massage + spa service was really good! The sauna was slightly too hot at the beginning but it cooled down to a better temperature after about 5 minutes!
The foot spa was nice as well! Even when I was twitching (I'm a very ticklish person), the masseuse was kind enough to wait for a while then continue again! I have to say, it felt like she rubbed my foot but my calluses actually thinned out and my feet are really smooth! Like I almost slipped on my own feet when they were wet???
I also felt a little rubbed raw when the body scrub but it's worth it! (I guess?) I'm really smooth now!
The last part was the facial where I have to appreciate the masseuse having a sense of humor! I didn't even realize I was making a face every time that she would rub/wipe anything along my mustache or down my nose. She laughed and tried to rein it in, but tbh I kind of appreciate the fact that she did. It made the atmosphere less awkward, and it made me laugh too! It's pretty funny when you imagine it so I don't blame her for laughing!
The food after (and this biscuits to pair with tea 😍) were really good too! Great after 3 hours of lying on a bed, flipping around, and being rubbed like a fish! Overall, it was a nice experience! I just wish they would have different sandal options (like options without the...
Read moreStayed here for one night on March 11 2020 after coming back from Ha Long Bay. The hotel is very new - very nice lobby and lovely rooms. We were upgraded from a Deluxe room to a Premium Duplex Suite (room 809). The design of the room was very nice - including the bedroom upstairs in a loft area, and a full size tub outside on a balcony. The service at the hotel was professional, helpful and friendly, including reception, concierge, Cloud Nine restaurant and Lighthouse Sky Bar.
Breakfast at Cloud Nine had a very good selection, and the views were amazing. Similarly, the Lighthouse Sky bar was a great place to relax after an evening of sampling street food at about 5 different places, ha! Very original and balanced cocktails - smooth and great depth of flavors, not too sweet as drinks can be at places where the mixologist/bartenders are not as skilled as at La Siesta.
The location is fantastic - in the Old Quarter, but the rooms are quiet, and it's an easy, short walk to Hoam Kiem lake. Be sure to try the egg coffee just around the corner at Nang Cafe (45 Nguyễn Hữu Huân). A nice atmosphere and the best egg coffee I've had in Hanoi.
We definitely plan to come back to stay at the La Siesta Premium Hang Be when we...

The hotel strikes the perfect balance between style and substance. The architecture and interior design are absolutely stunning — elegant, thoughtful, and truly memorable. You feel like you’re in a luxurious oasis tucked right into the heart of the city.Location-wise, it’s hard to beat. Walking distance to many great spots in Hanoi, yet tucked away just enough to feel peaceful. The staff were incredible — genuinely warm, helpful, and attentive to detail. Service was consistently top-notch throughout my stay. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of both local and Western options, all fresh and delicious. The bed was super comfortable, which made coming back to the room after long days exploring feel like a treat. While I do wish the hotel had its own gym, they offered complimentary access to a nearby partner hotel gym just a short walk away — a great solution and much appreciated. All in all, La Siesta is a beautiful and welcoming place to stay in Hanoi. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, well-located hotel with...
