Hanoi L'Heritage Diamond Hotel & Spa — Hotel in Hà Nội

We stayed at Hanoi Heritage Diamond Hotel for 7 nights and had a truly wonderful experience. This boutique luxury hotel has a very convenient location, excellent cleanliness, and extremely helpful staff. Although our stay was quite long, each day felt just as fresh and welcoming as the very first day we checked in.

We booked the highest category room (Executive Suite) for its space, and it was well worth it — the room had a spacious bathroom, a comfortable bedroom, and even a balcony, which made our stay very enjoyable.

What stood out most, and what we will never forget, is the outstanding service. We would like to especially mention:

Mr. Scott, who went above and beyond to assist us in so many ways throughout our stay.

Ms. Hurong, who took excellent care of our room and ensured every detail was perfect. After long days of excursions, returning to our room always felt like checking in on the first day — clean, fresh, and perfectly arranged.

Ms. Sabi and Mr. James at the Travel Counter, who helped us arrange visits and were always ready with helpful travel suggestions.

The restaurant staff were also very kind and friendly. The food was tasty, and we even ordered dinner from the à la carte menu several times during our stay. One small area for improvement would be the breakfast buffet: since the spread is not very large, items suitable for guests who don’t eat pork or beef can be limited, and we noticed that some dishes were not refilled once they were finished. This left fewer options for certain guests, which can be a little disappointing.

We spent 2 nights at the Hanoi L’Heritage Diamond Hotel and Spa.

The staff are great and they go out of their way to welcome you. The room we stayed in was quite large clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was good and there was a good selection catering for every taste and all beautifully presented. They offer freshly prepared scrambled eggs, omelet or pho style broth with noodles.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and found the location was great, there is a really nice Coffee cafe on the corner which we throughly enjoyed!

Now for the not so good bits. While we were wasting time after we checked in and waiting for our room to be prepared we decided to have a massage. It was good and we did enjoy it but one of the masseurs asked for a tip which left a bit of a bitter taste.

When we arrived and we’re trying to check in the manager was asking us to cancel our reservation on Agoda so that they could “upgrade our room” I found this a bit strange. We couldn’t and said we need to pay the hotel directly which we did.

The next day I received a notification from Agoda stating our reservation was cancelled as “No Show” and debited my bank account with the full amount of the accomodation as cancellation fee. All this do that they don’t have to pay Agoda’s commission. The manager at the hotel was desperately trying to sort this out with the owner but I had to go back to Agoda with the receipt that I had paid the hotel directly and they processed a refund.

We booked four (4) rooms for our group during our stay in Hanoi from 5 May to 7 May 2025. The hotel manager (Ms. Hanh) organized our stay, thank you for the beautiful hospitality extended to our group. Rooms are ready for our group when we arrived the hotel, spotless room and comfortable beds. Nice and decent breakfast on top of the hotel. Location is perfect to go around the area to see some attractions. St. Joseph's Catedral is only few steps from the hotel and Hoan Kiem Lake is also walking distance. Around the hotel, you can walk to some popular restaurants, like Pho 10 and a lot of coffee shops and massage/spa centers. Ms. Hanh also arranged our VIP Limousine transportation from Hanoi to Sapa. It was perfect van for our group with massage chair and exclusive only for our group (8 adults). The hotel staff is the asset of the hotel, providing seamless service and warm reception. Overall, it was an excellent stay.
