Exactly as named, Hidden Gem Homestay is literally a hidden gem. Situated in a secluded laneway in the heart of activity of The Old Quarter. The property is quiet and secluded, it's a great escape from the hustle and bustle, however! It is only a short walk to great coffee, bars, restaurants etc, etc. The rooms are clean and airy and the lounge area is comfortable. The security is excellent and it really feels safe and private. The host and co-hosts are absolutely beautiful people who are kind and friendly. Chi and her family are there to help with any requirements you may need, IE: shopping, tours, recommendations etc In the laneway to the accommodation is great little backstreet dinning with sensational and cheap Pho. Horrible experience! They kicked us out in mid night! When we came back, our luggage were moved from our room to the lobby. They packed our bags and touched our personal stuff without notifying us. It was unbelievable! They overbooked and the owner lied that she had massaged me but there were massages found anywhere in Agoda app or in my WhatsApp, email…nothing! And they tried to offer me another room which is like a dungeon no windows and dirty and smelly and asked me to pay for that room. I refused and she just cancelled my booking. She was rude. Had the most amazing experience staying at hidden gem homestay, the owners, Nhung and Son absolutely made our stay in Hanoi they welcomed us to eat with them on new years and took us around the city a bit. They are such kind, positive and funny people! On top of that the location is perfect, right near to center and the rooms are immaculate. They have everything you need, it’s quiet and peaceful very clean warm showers I have absolutely no regrets about staying here i feel so grateful to meet these beautiful people and can’t wait to stay here next...
