Marina Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Hà Nội

Went to this hotel prior to the pandemic (Aug 2019) for a couple days to reset. From the pictures online it looked great and very relaxing. During this timeframe it seemed to be their off shoulder timeframe as there were not a lot of visitors. Plus it rained everyday I was there—not all the time though there were times when the rain stopped and continued. This has nothing to deal with the hotel though ☺️.

Things dealing with the hotel: They have umbrellas for this rainy timeframe so you have some coverage. I would highly advise getting a rain coat/poncho if you plan on riding a scooter. There are no windows in the guest rooms. Maybe I forgot to look into this when booking/viewing photos. Not something that would make it a bad hotel but I like when the sun peeks through the window in the morning. The breakfast is included in your room reservation. If you’re not s early riser it stops at 11 but you can try to have them deliver some items to your room. The corridors smell amazing! I noticed they have columns with fresh flowers and water on each floor near the elevator. If you do not want to wait for the elevator, there is stairs but it’s not made for two personnel to walk side by side.

During my stay, there was a gush of wind that knocked down a tree which then knock out power. I learned they have flashlights in each room for this purpose so you can see. I’m not sure if I was the only person in the hotel but they didn’t do a head count or come around to check. I went downstairs and the night attendant was unaware as he was napping. If you wanted to explore old quarter, this is strategic hotel for ur stay. All the facilities and things provided here was great. Staff are so friendly and respectful. Room and washroom is clean. Con: We were stay two days but the room was so warm. There's no air conditioning in our room at all, when we checked receptionist they mentioned the rooms were centralised air conditioned, and other customers had reduced the chillness. Even outside the hotel more cold than our room. During morning, I was wholly sweat. As we are paying, i would recommend to improvise this air conditioning where diff customer have diff preferences. Anyhow, this is a great hotel to stay....

Good, clean hotel with excellent service. It's located in a busy street, near a popular egg coffee bar. The room size was good and clean. I didn't hear any of the other guests in the other rooms on our floor, so the room has adequate isolation. The digital airconditioning is really weird and hard to understand. It was set to 25 and we couldn't get it any higher or lower. The water heater didn't work, because it had no power cord. On our day of leaving the elevator broke down, but the situation was nicely handled by the staff. The staircase is very narrow though.
