Healing Spa and Nail — Local services in Hà Nội

Not too sure how they managed to get a rating so high on google, but I was blinded by that. Facial was very well done, but pedicure was just cutting of cuticles and nails shaping. No filing or removal of dead skin on the under feet at all. The worst was the eye lash extensions. Avoid at all cost. Staff was very inexperienced. During removal of my previous lashes, she pulled a lash off causing pain on both eyes. She could have used a fan to blow dry the glue instead of her mouth as I was inhaling her breath which was extremely unpleasant. Hard old fashioned lashes were used and stuck on my own so close to the lash line and made that set of lashes done so uncomfortable to wear that I requested for it to be removed. Even the removal was a nightmare. Not sure if the liquid they used to remove was even right as it entered my eyes and it burned my eye. Now I had a red vein in it. As I have been doing my lashes on a monthly basis, I knew, they just did not have the proper tools or knowledge on how to do so. The original lash technician required help from another and it took time for the lashes to be removed. They stuck tape onto my lower lash, and the tape took some of my lower lashes out and, it was sooo painful. The whole lash extension experience was the most regretful choice that I made. Their prices are not fixed. It was ranged from 300-450k.. and the receptionist charged me 450K. Feels much like a Scam now as they made me pay before services were being rendered. Spent a good waste of my time lying there on a hard bed without pillows. Would urge the management to make sure your staff were well trained before rendering the services. They are cautious about how the service was, they did good recovery and refunded me but I would say, even if you need to lecture your staff, don’t do it right in front of the customer, even though I did not understand their language, I could tell the technician’s mood changed right after being told off on the spot. The technician was polite and I could feel she is trying her best. But sadly to say, she had very poor skills and I felt like a toy model letting her practice on. Avoid this place if you are looking for lash extensions and take note that basic pedicure does not include a clean up of dead skin on your feet which I thought pedicure...

Had a very nice facial which was good. Booked a hair wash and blowdry. A complete disaster. They did not have a clue about how to blowdry and style one’s hair. They did not have hair mousse or any volumiser or hair spray. I ended up blow drying and styling my own hair. They obviously did not have any trained or experienced hairdressers. They kept apologising and staff were nice and courteous aiming to please. To be paying such prices and not getting the proper service is not acceptable but was still charged the full rate. I would not recommend using their hair services, particularly if like me you are unable to lay flat on your back to get your hair/head suspended over the washbasin for a hair wash. I asked if could sit up and sit in a stool to get my hair washed. I did this whilst the girl sat on the bed to wash my hair. It was the most uncomfortable experience of my life. Lesson learnt do not go to a spa for getting your hair done but to a proper hairdressers salon if you can find one in Hanoi where I was staying at the time. All spas seem to offer hair wash services. Shame I did not take any photos. Was just so eager to leave feeling so uncomfortable with a wet back. Did also use them for a foot scrub/massage...

My experience in this store is terrible.

I book the massage,manicure and nail polish. First,the manicure part make my finger bleeding,but this wasn’t the worse.

The nail polish part was the one that make me feel like hell, the polish couldn’t dry,so the manicurist keep removing the gel again and again in a very brutal way.

At first, they thought it was the machine’s problem. But in fact it was the nail polish’s problem. The manicurist make poor judgement on solving problems that make the condition even worse. Due to the constant removing of nail polish make my nail getting thinner and thinner and the survey become rough. I can see that the manicurist feel sorry and panic about the situation, I know that they didn’t meant to but it still happen. The reason why I share my experience is to prevent it happen again.I truly hope what happens to me don’t happen to others. Wish everyone can have a good trip in Hanoi.

Overall, I don’t recommend this store,please have a second or even third thought of getting any service...
