I have stayed here at Flower Garden Homestay on Multiple Occasions. I have looked at reviews here that are not very good. First off, there is new management since February of 2018. Second, I see a bad one from January 2019. It certainly doesn't reflect my experience here. I find FGH to be as good of value as I have found throughout my travels of Southeast Asia. ||||What makes this place so great? ||||1. Immaculately clean. ||2. Walking distance to the Old Town, and bicycles provided for a nice ride to the beach||3. Anh, the owner, is incredibly friendly, well versed on Hoi An, speaks excellent English, and does everything that she can to make your stay better. ||4. I eat here regularly for lunch and breakfast because I love the food here. Anh's mother does majority of the cooking and it is great. ||5. There is a spa here offering massage on the first floor. ||6. Anh can arrange transportation, day trips, bus rides to other cities, etc.||7. I also found a couple of gyms walking distance that are cheap||8. They offer bicycle rentals that I believe are less than $1 USD a day||9. Value. I can not imagine there being better value here in Hoi An. ||||That being said, this is not a hotel. It is a homestay, but functionally, it acts as a hotel. The rooms are serviced daily, there is a mini-bar in every room. There is cable TV, very good air conditioning, and good Wi-Fi. ||||If there were any issues I would have it would be that the rooms do not have safes, but I found the building to be very safe. (I carry a portable PacSafe anyway). Also, there is pesky little rooster in the back that happens to like it when the sun comes up!||||FGH is highly...
Read moreI stayed at this Homestay for five nights and it certainly met all my needs. It is very close to a multitude of good restaurants, bars, and local markets. The room rates are very reasonable. The room was large and very clean with daily maid service, a comfortable bed, good bathroom, AC, and strong WiFi. The proprietor, Anh, was very friendly, helpful with suggestions as to what to do and where to go. She arranged my airport transfers and a separate ride to and from Danang one day, all at much lower rates than expected with charges that were conveniently added to my bill. Anh’s English is very good and she seems never rushed. I enjoyed drinking tea with her and talking about a variety of subjects. The building is very quiet with no street noise or from other guests. Frankly there were no disappointments and I plan on returning there at my next Hoi An visit without any hesitation. It certainly was kind to my budget and I expect anyone would enjoy...
Read moreGreat and very nice staff, very helpful to assist you in anything you need. A lot of information and help from them. Located in a quiet street, about 10 minutes to the beginning of the downtown on foot. Laundry services, motor-bike and bike rental located in the same street. Mini market with fruits and drinks just in the corner of the street. Very comfortable rooms. You get a key for the room and a key for the main door to be able to get in after 11PM. Absolutely advisable to stay in Hoi An. ||Maybe could be interesting if there was a common zone to be able to interact with other guests(kitchen, relaxing area or something similar) in case you are traveling alone . You only have the main entrance. ||Too many mosquitos in the stairs and in the room. ||Anyhow the place and the...
