This is one of those places that deserves its high rating!!!!!!
Such a delightfully perfect start to our morning! Mia Coffee is a gem!!!! With so many coffee shops in Hoi An, it can get overwhelming but to smell their beans roasting at 5:30 and have the very friendly owner (?) chatting with me before they opened was an easy choice today!
This was the most flavorful coffee I have had in the three weeks we’ve been in Vietnam ( and that’s saying something with all the great coffee here) As I enjoyed his hot Vietnamese machine coffee, I could smell the banana bread baking. As it cooled on the table, there’s no way one could pass up a slice. Two slices later and we now can’t wait to try their other home baked goodies! You can feel the pride in the owners? staff…And that’s really special yet uncommon !!!!
Thank you for a great morning and we will see you again...

Visited for the second time in Feb and adjusted my rating to 4 stars based on the latest experience due to slack service such as no attention from a waitress to take the order and no English spoken by another waiter. Those who do speak English did see his struggles but showed no interest in helping out. Staff are all on smartphones busily updating their social media sites rather than taking care of service.
Cappuccino and latte were very good but the size of the cappuccino cup is too small by Italian standards. Panini ok but needed a bit of chili sauce to spice it up. Chocolate tart was very good, but...

It's open to the street on a corner in the old town where everyone toots their horn as they enter the intersection. I had a coconut coffee, that was fine, nothing terrible or exceptional. I had a tuna "panini" that was more like a corner shop toastie. The staff really couldn't be bothered. I wasn't offered a glass of water, such a standard thing in this part of the world. When I got up to refill my water the staff didn't even look up from their phones. 115,000 for a coffee and mediocre sandwich in old town, fine, but not a co-working space. I'm sure tourists find it very quaint and authentic in some weird...
