I had the most incredible experience at this Vietnamese restaurant with the most charming owner, Flower! From the moment we stepped inside, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
The culinary journey began with a feast of flavors that left my taste buds dancing with delight. The wontons were simply exquisite, bursting with delectable fillings and cooked to perfection. The lemongrass pork was a revelation - tender, fragrant, and seasoned to perfection. And don't even get me started on the spring rolls; they were a crispy and mouthwatering delight that I just couldn't get enough of!
But what truly set this restaurant apart was the cooking class with Flower. It was a dream come true for anyone seeking an authentic Vietnamese cooking experience. Flower's expertise and passion for the cuisine shone through as she taught us the traditional techniques to recreate those delightful dishes at home.
The class was hands-on, fun, and educational, giving us a deeper appreciation for the ingredients and methods that make Vietnamese cuisine so unique and delicious. I left the class feeling confident that I could whip up these fantastic dishes in my own kitchen.
Not only was the food and cooking class outstanding, but the service was also top-notch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always eager to share their knowledge about the dishes.
The overall ambiance of the restaurant was delightful, reflecting the rich culture of Vietnam, with its tasteful decorations and warm color palette. It felt like we were transported to another place, immersing ourselves in the true essence of Vietnam.
And let's not forget the sublime white rose dumplings - a true hidden gem of the menu!
If you're looking for an authentic Vietnamese dining experience led by a talented and passionate owner like Flower, then this is the place to be. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or just curious about Vietnamese cuisine, this restaurant and its cooking class will not disappoint. I cannot wait to return and continue exploring the wonderful world of Vietnamese flavors crafted by the skilled hands of Flower.

Read moreFlower Restaurant is the type of place you go to have a real Vietnamese experience that's incredibly delicious. The owner Flower is incredibly kind, and she will recommend amazing food depending on your taste. It's the perfect type of place to get out of the loud, busy night market, and get a slice of life of what Hoi An is really like.
We went there two days in a row and tried the White Rose (steamed dumplings), Fried Shrimp With Garlic, Fried Wontons, Pork Spring Rolls, and Cao Lao Noodles with Seafood. Every dish was really rich in flavour and unique, the quality of the ingredients are really high, and Flower the owner puts all of her effort into every dish to make it as delicious as possible. I'd especially recommend the White Rose and Fried Wontons, and think that anyone can enjoy them. The Fried Shrimp with Garlic was my favourite, and I would strongly recommend it to those that don't mind eating a full shrimp (scales, legs, head intact) like they serve it commonly all over Asia.
This is the first time I've taken the time to write a review like this, but Flower Restaurant is 100% deserving of 5 stars for the amazing flavour, incredibly reasonable prices, and the really friendly and local...
Read moreAmazing, one of the best traditional places we have eaten while in Vietnam. Authentic as it gets (or as much as we Americans know). Please keep in mind this is a one lady show so expect some pacing with your meal.
We had Pho Ga, amazing depth in broth and tender chicken and wonderful noodles. Stir fried noodles and Pork excellent. We ordered both dishes spicy and arrived well seasoned and balanced.
Do not miss the Wontons, while they arrived following our entree’s (which may be as planned) were amazing. We had the spicy chicken which was an amazing mix of savory and sweet.
All this along with two glasses local white wine for $260,000 VND.
