What a perfect place to stay in Hoi An! ||||- Communication: Huy did an EXCELLENT job with communicating before and during our stay. She was extremely helpful with timely responses. ||||- Bed: VERY comfortable (a lot of beds that we slept on in Vietnam were extra firm. Not this one! Nice and soft! ||||- Water: Two bottles provided daily for free of charge -- perfect for drinking and/or teeth brushing if you can't consume the water. ||||- Cleanliness: Very clean and the staff will come in to clean daily if requested. ||||- Shower: Nice hot water for showering after long travel. ||||- A/C: Cools the room off very well and there is an additional fan if needed. - Breakfast: Included with the room -- several selections such as bread, eggs, Pho, etc. and drinks such as coffee, lemonade, tea, etc. ||||- Recommendations: The receptionist, Kimmy, was SUPER helpful with setting up reasonably priced accommodations for a motorbike (and specific rules for the town), package mailing, tours, massage (we highly recommend Tam at Happy Day Beauty Salon & Spa -- just 4 doors up from the homestay on the same side of the street), recommendations for sight seeing, restaurants and tailors (we highly recommend Maya Tailors for custom clothes and 113 Souvenir Shoes & Bag Shop for all custom leather goods). ||||- Additional: A small fridge in the room stocked with beer, water, and soda for purchase. Reasonable prices. ||||- Laundry: This is not self-serve, but rather a nominal fee is charged by the kilo to have your laundry washed and folded. ||||Finally, I read a review mentioning staff speaking limited English. This wasn't our experience. The receptionist, Kimmy, speaks English, Spanish, and French. She also helped us improve our Vietnamese! We communicated via the AirBnB app with Huy who read and communicated in...

The bathroom has consistent hot water with decent water pressure. ||So what makes it excellent: ||1. Immaculate room ||2. Great cook to order breakfast each morning||3. Kimmy Phan is the on-site contact. She does it all from scheduling outings, translating or explaining Vietnamese restaurants or customs and just a great source for information. ||4.Kimmy pointed us to great places to shop and lead one of our more fun tours. ||5. The family and Kimmy offered a cooking class. I learnt to make 3 dishes that I cannot wait to try again at home. ||6. Services offered include laundry, help with travel arrangements and even scheduling the Vietnam post to come to collect things to ship home. ||I have to say i truly enjoyed the family and appreciate all the nice touches. Read moreIt was wonderful staying at Nhu Huy homestay! The older women working was extremely friendly and knew enough English to help us with whatever we needed, and was willing to ask her daughter for assistance otherwise. The room was comparable to a nice hotel room and had a cute balcony overlooking the street. We felt like we were staying in a small independent hotel when in our room and in a welcoming home when in the welcome/reception area. The location is amazing! We could walk to the night market in 2 mins and the old quarter in 5. We were also able to rent bicycles from the home stay for a dollar each and an automatic motorbike for 5 dollars for the day. The fridge was stocked with beers water and juices for purchase and the room had a strong fan and great air conditioning. We also bought breakfast from the homestay for 2.50 everyday and were very happy with our meals. They even stored our luggage after checkout and let us have a shower that day before catching our bus. Really amazing experience and perfect location for...
