The best Homestay I've ever been to. She is the nicest person we met in Vietnam, and you know how kind in Vietnam people usually are. She treated us like her children. I was there initially for 1 night with my girlfriend, but we ended up spending there 4 nights. You don't have to pretend you'll have the super fancy room, but it is perfect, clean and with all needed amenities. She gave us many suggestions on where to go and do. She even gave us 2 free bicycle to go around ( the best way to explore). We even wanted to rent the scooter from her but she suggested to get the bicycle instead to reach the beach, so shw doesn't care about trying to get all your money. The location is perfect, close to many many restaurants and places to visit. The best Homestay in hoian ❤️❤️

6 of us stayed with miss ten for two nights. Her hospitality was utterly incredible. Extremely clean throughout the entirety of the building. She catered for all our needs and went above and beyond. Fresh coffee in the morning, a home cooked meal With her family, taxis ordered and directed us to anyone that would give us the best deals or discounts which was never wrong. In summary this woman is such a kind and considerate host that wouldn't see you stuck in any way shape or form. I wouldnt even consider staying anywhere else in Hoi An.

We stayed at Miss Ten Homestay for 2 nights and we definitely recommend this place: - Miss Ten and his familly are really nice, friendly and honest people. They do everything to help you. They give you advices and good tips for your trip. You can count on them. - the place is really beautiful and charming. All the rooms have king size beds, italian bathroom and AC - the breakfast is good and Miss Ten knows how to take care of her customers! Thank you for making our stay at Hoi An an exceptionnal one!

Based on the Tripadvisor excellent reviews , I chose to stay with Miss Ten . Hoi Ann was my first stop for Central Vietnam so I was hoping to have a good start by staying here . |Unfortunately, my first impressions were far from pleasant. I reread the reviews and thought I might have booked the wrong place but judging from the photos , it was clear that there was no mistake- this was the same Miss Ten Homestay which everyone was raving about.||I had arrived a day later than anticipated due to a flight change but nevertheless I paid for the first night . I immediately informed Miss Ten of the flight change and she responded by stating that the room was cleaned and ready for my arrival. I arrived at mid-morning the next day and was promptly ushered to my " deluxe" room on the top floor with a balcony. The room was bright and airy with the curtains aside and it was in a relatively quiet street. ||I went to the bathroom and , to my annoyance, a light was not working ; it was dimly lit with only 1 light . I informed Miss Ten of this and she said her husband was not around and I should be alright with one light. I was tired so I did not want to make a big deal out of it.|However, this was a foreboding of what was to come.........||As I was reaching out for the soap to wash my hands , to my horror, 2 pieces of used soap were sitting in a horrendous filthy soap dish. I proceeded to rinse my hands without the soap. I then decided to lay down for a while as I was tired and went to draw the curtains. After a short nap, I woke up to turn on the lights in the room. To my annoyance, only 1 light was working in the whole room -all the other 5 bulbs were blown or not working at all! || I quickly went down and tried to tell Miss Ten about the soaps and the lights . She came upstairs with me and was very defensive , as if I was being difficult and said most people would not mind used soaps, implying I should not mind as well. In any event, she reluctantly brought in 2 bars of soap and in a hostile manner, removed the filthy soap dish and angrily tore the paper covering of a new bar of mini soap and threw it by the side of the sink. Because of her behaviour , I then mentioned that I booked her place due to the Tripadvisor reviews and I felt disappointed. She left the room in a huff. An hour later, I came down the stairs to venture out to town and she was seated at one of her dining tables. She said she thought about my complaints and apologised for her behaviour. ||Fortunately, our stay for the next 3 days were uneventful . However, Miss Ten made a point to inform me that she will clean my room every day and had cleaned the bathroom for me when I returned from town. ||Pros for this homestay :-||(1) It is situated in a quiet street away from the bustle but very walkable to the old town and night market so its location was excellent .||(2) Shower pressure was reasonably strong.||(3) The room itself with a balcony with the windows open is bright and airy. ||Cons:-||(1) Price point - would have been considered cheap but with the failings here, it was not worth the money spent. ||(2) The dining area reception and kitchen were very poorly lit and this made the whole place look dreary and dingy . It felt as if they were trying to conserve electricity but went a bit too far. eg lights were not turned on during breakfast and because the house is rather longitudinal , the central area looked very dark and unwelcoming. ||(3) Breakfast was basic and perhaps not for the Asian palate. ||(4) Accommodation is very basic, so perhaps suitable for backpackers . ||(5) Not very clean - we had to take off our shoes as we entered the house which was fine but it always left an uncomfortable film of dust or debris on my feet . Most of the time , I had to put on socks walking around the house. ||(6) The walls are very thin. Every conversation , baby's cry , closing of doors, rings throughout the house. |||A few observations here:-||(1) If your room is at the top of the stairs, you would need to lug your own baggage up and down the stairs. Miss Ten offered her daughter's help but we did not like the idea of having a puny 12 year old girl help with our luggage so we did it ourselves. ||(2) Having stayed in many homestays around the world , I would rate this homestay as sub-standard. The least one would expect from a homestay no matter how basic is a certain minimum level of hygiene and proper lighting . Getting a guest to use a used mini soap certainly doesn't cut it , and when the host states that the room is ready for use, the room should at least be checked if it is properly lit. To have 1 bulb working in the entire room with 5 other bulbs out of commission is certainly not acceptable, no matter how cheap the room is. There is no need to declare that the rooms and bathroom would be cleaned . When one pays for a room, that is the least expected from the host unless stated otherwise prior to booking. ||(3) There are establishments especially in Asia where the host acts one way to certain groups of people eg Caucasions and show a different attitude towards other races. I feel this is one of them. Hence depending on who you are, you might be treated differently. Somehow after the encounter on the first day, I had the feeling that the smiles were not sincere and conversation was rather stilted .From my observation, this felt like a purely economic enterprise for Miss Ten , certainly no hint of the warm and friendly motherly figure whom others were raving about in the other reviews. ||Of course, as always, these reviews are totally subjective. Miss Ten might say she was having a bad week or that she is misunderstood, or have some excuse or reason for her not so hospitable hospitality but it suffices to say that this would not be my choice of accommodation the next time I...

If you are thinking about staying in Hoi An for a few nights, this is the accommodation to book. I stayed at Miss Ten's Homestay for 5 nights and truly enjoyed my stay here. I booked a room with a balcony which I would highly recommend for other travellers as well. The room on the third floor had nice views to the street and was not at all too noisy at night. The room itself was very spacious and extreamly clean. The housekeeping staff checked my room every day and changed the towels frequently. The bathroom is amazing, you can adjust the temperature of the water as well as water pressure which is good.||||The room rate for this accommodation is more than reasonable if you take into account all the amazing things that are included in the price. You'll have spacious and clean rooms, amazing location near the sights by a not too busy street, breakfast and most importantly, 5 star service. ||||Miss Ten is such a kind, accommodating and genuine host - she truly made my stay at Hoi An a dream come true. Nothing is too much of a trouble for her. When I booked my accommodation she offered me the possibility for an airport pick-up which I ended up taking advantage of. The airport pick-up was of great value and such a convenient and hassle free way to get from Da Nang airport to the homestay that I ended up asking for an airport drop-off as well which was efficiently arranged. Even though I had to leave rather early on my day of departure the owner arranged me some breakfast on the go as well. While staying at Miss Ten Homestay you can choose your breakfast of choice from multiple different options. Especially the banana and pineapple pancakes are to die for! In addition to breakfast Miss Ten is glad to help you out with anything you might need: arranging day trips, taking care of the laundry and recommending places to check out. After a long travel day on my day of arrival I even got some refresments and lunch on the spot which I was extreamly grateful for. When coming back from exploring the city of Hoi An, she might suprise you with something she has baked or cooked. ||||During my stay here I felt like I was staying with friends and family rather than at a generic hotel and that was such an amazing feeling after staying in a big buzzling city before coming to Hoi An. My stay at Miss Ten Homestay was such a pleasure that I would without a doubt book a room here again and whole heartedly recommend this accommodation to other...

We have travelled a lot, but I think I never felt that welcomed before! Fantastic! Once again we arrived late at the homestay. Miss Ten opened the gate and we could get some sleep till the morning. In the morning she welcomed us with some cold and tasty homemade lemon tea and explained us how things work in Hoi An. Everytime we came back to the homestay she gave us a warm welcome with tea and homemade specialties. We actually wanted to stay two nights in Hoi An but because this city is so nice we were able to stay 2 more nights at her homestay. In this time I think we used every advice she gave us and took every service she offered. No matter if tailor, massage, laundry, whatever – her tips were great! We had the chance to get two dinners at her homestay – it where two of the best an most authentic we had during our travel. As for the rooms – there is nothing to complain about – exceptionally clean and tidy, good Wifi, … I could go on for some more lines =) In a nutshell: Fantastic homestay, fantastic owner and fantastic service! If we visit Hoi An again we will definitely come back! Thank you for these...
