Giang Linh Hotel — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

This place is very good if you're not looking for the top of the line fancy hotels but rather a comfortable place to leave your luggage, shower, rest and recharge yourself for the next day of exploring the city. It's in the heart of the city. A short walk to Ben Thanh Market and Bui Vien Street. Food stalls as soon as you exit. A 24hr convenience store and a 7Eleven that is a few steps away. The things I did had a problem with is the shower is iffy at best in the morning around 7-8 am. Hot water doesn't exist. But after those times it's perfectly fine. The walls aren't well insulated so you can hear people in rooms adjacent to you...

If you can live with that, this place is perfect and very affordable to stay...

We arrived extremely early, and the friendly reception were kind enough to let us check in a bit earlier.

Filthy room & full of cockroaches. After seeing the room, we approached the front desk about the problems. She wiped dead cockroaches off of the table and onto the floor and then left apologising that it was a “new room”. The room was filthy and had not been cleaned at all. We had to check out leave immediately as it was so disgusting and the front desk lady seemed happy to let us go. Would not reccomend, go...
