Sapa Mountain Hotel — Hotel in Sa Pa Ward

I received a really disrespectful and totally incorrect note from this hotel that left me feeling sick to my stomach and angry. I never complain and I'm frustrated that in this situation I had to to avoid being taken advantage of.||||When we checked in it took a little while for the gentleman to find our reservation, and when he finally brought us to our room, it did not have the mountain view we paid for or the balcony our confirmation said it would have. It faced the neighboring building and you could see mountains only at an angle.||||I said something then, and after 5 minutes of checking all my confirmations, I went down and showed a different guy my confirmations and we were moved down the hall to a room on the mountain side. I got none of the "genius perks." When I inquired about the late checkout that was supposed to be part of the booking I was told i already got a "free upgrade." I showed him my confirmation again and he said i should call booking.com because it is wrong ... he should call booking.com that is not my responsibility!||||He insisted that the first room was a mountain view, so be wary when paying for that. It was definitely not a mountain view, it was a neighboring building view.||||Like other reviews stated on booking.com, wifi is not good on 4th floor. We had none at all in our room, but it worked in the hallway. We got to breakfast at 8:40 (it ends at 9) and they only offered powdered sugar coffee, no regular black coffee.||||The response from the hotel was so disrespectful, came out of nowhere, and accused me of trying to get things for free. I have copies from booking.com as well as the conversation that ensued when I requested the late check out "genius perk" from booking.com. I will share...

Our stay was fantastic. We had the double deluxe room with balcony as we wanted the mountain view. And so glad that we paid slightly more for that view and no regrets about it. Location is just less than 5 minutes away from Sapa square. This area is quiet which we really appreciate and away from the noise and the horns of the car. The famous cafe in the cloud is just 3 minutes away. The hotel provided early check in for us (bless them) and we needed it after a night on the train. ||||It is a very basic hotel, but with a very homely touch. It seemed to run by a family but the staff were always around to help you and they can speak English. Oh, be sure to shower early for the hot water is a little inconsistent towards the night. Gia đình mình có sử dụng dịch vụ lưu trú của khách sạn từ ngày 23/06 - 26/06. Tiền Phòng: Gia đình mình có 4 người lớn, 2 trẻ em nên cần phòng rộng nên book phòng 3 giường của khách sạn. Mình đã check 1 số khách sạn, với giá tiền và diện tích phòng thì khách sạn này giá ổn nhất. Ban đầu, nhà mình dự định ở 4 ngày (từ 23/06 đến sáng 27/06), giá phí: 2.1tr/ 4 đêm. Anh chủ support mình checkin sớm miễn phí. Mình đi nhà xe Hà Sơn Hải Vân chuyến 23h hơn, đến Sapa là 4h sáng nên cần nhận phòng sớm. Nhiều khách sạn khác có tính phí hoặc không cho nhận phòng trước nên mình thấy điểm này là điểm cộng to oành luôn. Các bạn nên deal vụ nhận phòng sớm vì sau khi ngủ thêm được mấy tiếng, cả nhà mình cảm thấy rất okie, có sức đi FANSIPAN vào sáng hôm đó luôn. Phòng: Phòng thực tế rất rộng, 3 giường đôi, giống trong hình ksan gửi, sạch sẽ. Rất phù hợp với nhóm đông người hoặc gia đình. Phòng có ban công nữa. Một điểm trừ nhỏ là phòng mình ở là phòng ở tầng 2, nên không có rõ view núi gì cả, sáng hơi ồn. Tuy nhiên, do hợp không khí hay sao ý, nhà mình ngủ rất ngon, từ 10h đêm tới 9h sáng "
