My dog Minnie Mouse started going to day care here a few months ago and I simply cannot emphasize how beneficial it has been towards her. With myself moving to Australia from the states just a month before COVID, her move was delayed by 9 months and ultimately became much more complex and lengthy of a journey to get her here due to the flights and limitations on animal travel. Ultimately, it was a very hard move for her and as a rescue who had been abused before I adopted her, the journey affected her much more than I had hoped and when she arrived she was struggling to socialize with other dogs and people.
Just a couple months into her attending Doggy Day Care Brisbane, and only once a week at that, I can now take her to the dog park to socialize with other dogs and she's constantly going up to random people on the street with a smile to say hi and ask for a pet. Each week I am seeing more and more progress and a positive change with her. The socialization she gets there has been so amazing for her confidence and independence when it comes to meeting others. I rave about Kaz and everyone who works there to everyone I know here and have several coworkers who are looking forward to them opening up their second location, which is nearer to where they live. I highly recommend them for your pup if you're looking for a daycare place. I guarantee your dog will come home tired and extremely happy each week and fall in love with the people who work there over time, just like...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was so worried about sending Magnolia off to daycare as we have not been apart the whole time we've had her. I've driven past DDCB many times as I used to live in West End, so I decided to give it a go.
Honestly, could NOT BE HAPPIER with the quality of care and professionalism at DDCB and I am usually extremely wary of people looking after my dog. They were quick to adapt to the new 3 day lockdown, their social media platform is very informative with daily updates on how your dog is doing and most importantly, Maggie was worn out and happy when I picked her up. We have been training her bite inhibition at home (she's a kelpie and likes to nip) but one day at DDCB was probably the equivalent of one week of bite training at home. The socialisation skills she picked up from one day are just amazing.
I will definitely be sending her back as it is helping her become a well balanced pup. She even walked loosely on her leash this morning. As a busy working individual, I can only wear her out to a certain degree. My 3x walks a day + 4 hours of play was nothing compared to DDCB.
We will be returning. Have booked her in 2x a week till the end of April. Thank you for your help and genuine interest in my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI can't rate this daycare highly enough! If there were ten stars, I'd give them all to Kaz and her amazing team. Special mention to Liz too who trains my pup Gigi. She's amazing and Gigi is complimented often on her manners and training. Gigi started here from around four months of age (she's been going now for nearly 18 months) and she's loved every day she's attended (pretty much five days a week). The team have such a genuine love for the dogs in their care and you feel that from the minute you step foot inside this daycare. I did trial days of three daycares and was concerned beforehand that I would struggle to choose one. I needn't have worried. I knew instantly that this was the one for us. I felt very confident that Gigi would be cared for, loved, supported, and that we'd found a lovely second home for her. I actually could type an essay for this review, but I'll stop here. I can't recommend this daycare enough. It's Gigi's last week there this week and I am so sad to be leaving. And I'll tell you that when I made a pros and cons list of moving out of this area, I absolutely factored in that Gigi would no longer be able to come here. Our pups are our babies and Kaz and her team have loved Gigi...
