Waited in line for about 5-10 minutes which was fine as it was busy. I ordered my coffee the same way I usually order at any cafe, and I asked how many shots the large had in it. I was then told by the server that in the future I need to say my order quicker as Iâm slowing down the service and making the line long. I apologised and stated how I had been at work (at the hospital) until 2am the night before and was tired. She told me that sheâs just trying to get through people as quick as she can. I felt that this was very unprofessional, and it was not a nice feeling being blamed for the long wait after waiting there myself and paying over $7 for a coffee. I ordered at the speed that I order at any coffee shop, however busy, with no drama. Hopefully this server can reflect on how their words can impact someone and be mindful on how they treat others. People of all backgrounds order at coffee shops, people might have an intellectual disability or a stutter which may slow down their ability to order fast, and hopefully she can be mindful of this going forth. Itâs a shame as I have enjoyed the coffee from here in the past but I wonât be returning anymore after this. EDIT: Hi Kathy, it wonât let me reply to your reply but thank you for your prompt response. Your apology and concern is very much appreciated. It was the hole in the wall one (not sure the name sorry) and it was around 10am on Sunday morning, the server was an older...

No matter how busy she is, Kiki stops making coffee and runs out to pat Cea and coo at Aurie. She always asks how my day is and genuinely cares about my answer.
Kiki turns 5 am walks when the baby wonât sleep đ into happy anticipation of caffeine and a smile.
As I walked off this morning with my inscribed coffee cup from Kiki- I ruminated that life has shown me so far that the people whoâve impacted me most, arenât often those with lofty titles or positions in life. They are the people who show up day in and day out to be authentically themselves, and to allow others to do the same.
Just sometimes, they have âbaristaâ on their name tag and make killer...
Read moreMy mornings wouldnât be complete without my Cheeky Bean coffee, itâs always perfect and always hits the spot. The service is genuinely unmatched! Georgia, Ange, and Julian knew my order by my second visit (which was a long time ago now), and Iâve been coming back ever since.
Kiki, Ace, and Grace always leave the sweetest notes on my coffee lid - such a small touch that makes a big difference. Honestly, Iâd come back for the people even if the coffee wasnât this good⌠but luckily, itâs perfect.
Thank you team for making my mornings brighter! And sorry if I left anyone out, you are...
