Don't waste your money here! Absolutely beyond poor customer service! I attended the store on Tuesday the 11th of July 2023 around midday. I didn't even get a "hello" as I walked in, this accompanied with a service representative that immediately came up to me and demanded to see my "identification". I abliged and showed my licence, no words were exchanged and she handed my licence back and stormed off, again without thanking me for providing my licence or to apologise for the aggression in which she came at me. I am very non confrontational so I didn't say anything and proceeded to look around the store. I watched older women in their 40's getting greeted at the door meanwhile I was not offered any assistance in the whole time I was in the store. I had a gift card for $300 I was hoping to spend and I am assuming that there was a level of discrimination from the staff member on, based on who she was dedicating her time to and I assume she believed that assisting me would have been wasting her time. I left the store super upset, I am a loyal customer at the other honey birdette stores and will return to them but will absolutely avoid this store in future. I know what the service should be like and this staff member absolutely needs some assistance and training in customer service. The last few times I’ve been in I’ve been condescendingly told that I should be purchasing items in store rather than online (obviously to help their store profit margins). However, buying online means I don’t have to make the trip into store (which is nowhere near me) and also comes with express shipping if the purchase is substantial enough. Today after making the trip in I was told that whenever I make a return to their store it “destroys” their sales for the day and politely reprimanded me for it saying I’ve been making too many returns the last few months. First of all, I’m sorry, but isn’t the point of a physical store to make it more convenient for customers? Secondly, the online returns process can take 1-2 weeks (or longer due to all the postage delays caused by Covid), so returning in store cuts this down to 1-3 days - who wouldn’t want the shorter time frame? Honestly the service (if you’d even call it that) I received today was so rude and abrupt that I will absolutely not be making any more purchases here. Read moreMy friend had a bad experience inside the Myer Centre Brisbane Honey Birdette store, I'm not sure what the clerk's name was but she was working on Monday 24th Oct at 3-3:40. She seemed nice when we walked in and we were able to joke around but when my friend went in for a try on the clerk said she needed to come in and see how it fits, this wasn't concerning until she kept pushing it even after my friend said very clearly no, not to come in, despite this she walked in anyways and fixed the bras detangling. This experience was a very uncomfortable one for everyone in the store but most importantly for my friend who at the time only had shorts and the lingerie bra on. She continued to do it for the second try on, despite being told no, not to come in multiple times. I believe this was very unprofessional of her, it was not a problem that she asked to see how it fits rather that she ignored my friends consent to come in and see (two times).
