Might as well leave a review for this amazing place. Was there today for a flash piece from the lovely triickortreat. Staff from the moment I entered the cbd store were welcoming and lovely really appreciate a welcoming environment especially in the tattoo industry.

On the topic of the artist I had which was triickortreat they were an absolute sweetheart super reassuring and kind. I had a blast talking to them throughout the session I love yapping with tattoo artists it makes the tattoo experience more enjoyable.

It was also my first time at little frankies and it surely was a good experience and will solidify me as coming back in the future to get more tattoos from the artists who reside at the studios.

I left little frankies with an amazing tattoo and a studio I can surely call a safe space especially with it being so accommodating for all who visit.

100% will be back to the studio for future pieces.

I got a tattoo done terribly at Little Frankie’s a while ago and to this day I still feel frustration and regret. My piece was as simple as a picture of a 2D video game character, I was certain that it could’ve been done perfectly but I was very wrong. Since then, I’ve had my tattoo gone over again by a professional that could only do so much to fix it. The professional made many comments about my tattoo, all to the effect of it was rushed and/or the artist was not experienced.

I’m leaving this review with an additional star only because I know that there may be better artists than the person I booked with (she was not an apprentice. At the time, she was the one with the most years of experience).

My advice for those wanting a tattoo from Little Frankie’s is to find an artist with more than 2-3 years of professional experience as this business has many apprentices and newbies that they will not tell you about (my friend fell victim to this). So I got 2 tattoos done here last year, a "custom" & a flash. I booked through instagram with my idea, details of what I wanted (size, placement, etc) and multiple reference pictures. It was a very straight forward/simple request.

A month later, I arrived to my appointment and the artist knew nothing of what I wanted. I was expecting a custom piece, but sadly nothing was done and they didn't even know what flash I wanted. Luckily I had previously drawn my own design as a backup (because I've experienced a similar situation elsewhere before).

I don't really blame the artist as this seemed to be a communication issue from whoever runs the tattoo shops IG. The flash turned out good, but the main "custom" tattoo I got done turned out a little patchy. It was also very pricey for what I went through and doing my own custom design, they did not feel bad at all. 😂
