CASA Condominium — Local services in Toronto

I've been living here for over 5 years and have been mostly happy with my experience. The staff are all friendly, diligent, and capable. Management keeps the building well-run and maintained. I'd recommend Casa to anyone looking to move or buy into the area!

The one major negative thing I can think of is that the building does a lot of maintenance cycles - monthly fire alarm tests, regular spring and fall shutdowns of water and HVAC. Particularly, take note of the fact that the building shuts down cool air for the winter and seems to intentionally delay turning it back on when summer comes around - presumably to save a few bucks. This leads to 1-2 months per year where the units get very hot inside and the AC won't cool them down. The building charges a lot for maintenance, so this is poor managerial decision-making...

Our moving company was working at 33 Charles Street East Toronto, and it was a great experience. The location was convenient, the building was secure and the staff was very helpful. The elevator was a great size for our moving van, and the loading dock made it easy to move in our furniture and boxes. The parking lot was very easy to access, and the extra space for our truck made the move smoother and quicker. The hallway was wide and spacious, making it easy to move everything in safely. Great building has 2 other Casa towers with little connection though. City plans to redo street in Black stone like Bloor Yorkville. Also upgrade of parks on Charles started and has a nice modern design with nice spaces for community events. Great South view mostly unobstructed.
