Hong Kong Station is an important transportation hub within the MTR metro system in Hong Kong. It is located in Central District. There are two MTR lines that pass directly through the station, including the Tung Chung (orange line) and Airport Express which links Hong Kong Island to HKG airport on Lantau Island (24 minutes).
You can also transfer by foot through underground connections to Central MTR Station where you find important Tsuen Wan (red) and Island (blue) lines providing further MTR connection within Hong Kong and the Kowloon Peninsula. There is also bus terminus and ferry terminal to Macau nearby and it is easy to pickup taxi service just outside the station.
Within the station there is Airport Express check-in service for outbound flights from HKG. There are also a few retail shops, eateries and access to the IFC shopping mall which is attached and above...
Read moreQuite disappointed as the overall facilities does not fully support strollers. With Hong Kong ageing population, you can see alot of elderly struggling to climb the stairs. There are only a few lift and normally these lift are either fully occupied with non priority user or does not access to areas we want.
Strongly do not recommend people to use strollers/pram here. Even some station does not have lift going down to the concourse! Example like the central mtr station where we are going to the peak...
