I was on the hunt for ingredients to make kimchi jjigae and after visiting a number of K-Marts, I was really happy to find that Hi Mart had EVERYTHING I use in my recipe, specifically the brand of kimchi paste and soup stock. They also have a great selection of instant noodles, sauces, snacks, and alcohols!

I want to give this place 5 stars, but the slightly higher prices keep me from doing so. To be fair, I know the products are imported, but I'm from LA and I'm used to cheaper Korean...

The old Korean woman in this store is crazily rude! Very bad temper and attitude towards customers! The worst part is that she is walking above the refrigerator to range the food on the shelf while wearing the disgusting shoes!!! And vigorously threatening that if we don’t buy we shouldn’t touch the things in her store, and mocking us that we don’t understand french!!! Avoid this store no matter what! There are so many Korean stores in this area. No need to be so mean to the clients...
