TASTE (4/10): While the plates looked appetizing, I can't say the same for the taste. Despite the meats appearing freshly made (hopefully they were), they were oddly cold. The appetizers were nothing to write home about either. Honestly, I didn't enjoy it. I also sampled other plates on the table, and they weren't much better. PLACE (7/10): The venue is small, charming, and can accommodate approximately 15-20 people. PRICE (6/10): Not cheap, but not overly expensive either. Is it worth the money? No. SERVICE (6/10): We sat outside, and the meals took a bit longer, but it was okay. The real issue arose during payment. Despite being able to use my credit cards elsewhere, none of them worked here. It's either an issue with the banks they work with or their card machines. We had to borrow money from a friend to settle the bill. TREATMENT (8/10): The staff was fine; they didn't seem to have any issues. CLEANLINESS (8/10): I didn't notice any problems. It’s hard for us that tasted real Lebanese food to accept what we find in Paris. If you feel that way: go to Exotica! I was flying from Dubai to Paris when a lovely Portuguese girl that grew up in Dubai said this to me, and I always thought the same. After coming once to test their dishes and judge, I approve of every single one. I then came back and bought a lot of everything to serve them the way you see at home for my birthday. Everyone was so happy to have such good food, many asked me for to-go boxes, and I had so many leftovers to enjoy the evening afterwards eating more and more. I had 22 people over and ordered food for 170 euros, managed to feed everyone with the boxes to go and the leftovers. Thank you to this delicious restaurant!

Another time I got tricked by misleading reviews… It was far, very far from being a good Lebanese restaurant. It was the first time in my life I received such a cold welcome in a Middle Eastern restaurant which is supposed to value hospitality above anything else. I was hoping the high rates are due to excellent food but yet again I faced disappointment. The lunch platter was a way too expensive regarding portion sizes, the hummus was insipid, falafel was neither crispy nor flavourful… and the list goes on. I still gave their dessert a chance which took years to come and no surprise, nothing worth of mentioning.

We have been wanting to write a review for two days now, but we didn't know how to put our experience into words. The food was exceptional. In fact, it was so good we spent all of our subsequent holiday in Tunisia looking for mutabbal that would be at least half as good as the one we had here. While fasting during Ramadan, we spent hours googling Lebanese food. Lebanese food is now ruined for us because nothing will live up to what we had at Exotica. My friend almost bought a ticket to Beirut (I already have mine). Note: The chef knows that there is no such thing as too much garlic. Can't wait to come back!

لقد زرت هذا المطعم مؤخرًا، ورغم أن الطعم كان جيدًا جدًا جدًا، إلا أنني شعرت بخيبة أمل كبيرة بسبب السياسة غير العادلة في السماح بالجلوس. عندما طلبنا سندويشتين شاورما، لم يُسمح لنا بالجلوس إلا إذا طلبنا وجبة كاملة مع كولا وبطاطا مقلية. هذا الشرط كان مزعجًا للغاية،. تعامل الفتاة كان محترمًا للغاية، لكن عدم السماح لنا بالجلوس لمجرد أننا لم نطلب وجبة كاملة كان غير محترم كمبدأ. J'ai récemment visité ce restaurant, et bien que le goût soit très très bon, j'ai été très déçu par la politique injuste concernant l'autorisation de s'asseoir. Lorsque nous avons commandé deux sandwiches shawarma, nous n'avons été autorisés à nous asseoir que si nous commandions un repas complet avec du cola et des frites. Cette condition était très dérangeante, surtout que le prix des deux sandwiches n'était pas bon marché mais raisonnable. Le comportement de la serveuse était très respectueux, mais ne pas nous permettre de nous asseoir simplement parce que nous n'avons pas commandé un repas complet était irrespectueux comme principe. English I recently visited this restaurant, and while the taste was very, very good, I was greatly disappointed by the unfair policy regarding seating. When we ordered two shawarma sandwiches, we were only allowed to sit if we ordered a full meal with cola and fries. This condition was very annoying, especially since the price of the two sandwiches was not cheap but reasonable. The girl's service was very respectful, but not allowing us to sit just because we didn't order a full meal was disrespectful as a principle.

No offence but I not a huge fan of Lebanese cuisine but their dishes were so delicious that I absolutely loved them. The tastiest hummus I ever had 👌 The grills were perfectly cooked, proper juicy and full of taste. It is located at such a perfect place, was only a few hundreds meter from the hotel we were staying and it is right next to Metro station as well. The name of the hotel doesn't seems Halal but all the dishes are absolutely halal 😄
