🇫🇷 Paris: Top 20 Korean Restaurants Reviewed (Part 1)

Lunch menu: 16 euros - starter of the day: fried veggie ravioli with a sweet and sour sauce. The sauce was good. The dumpling skin was thin and crispy, we liked it. The stuffing was a bit bland though. - Main dish: 4 choices among bibimbap, stir fried glass noodle, sweet and sour chicken, spicy chicken soup. The beef bibimbap was delicious. On top, we were culinary students so we were satisfied when seeing vegetables properly cut! The bowl was super hot, we can hear the rice sizzling for a couple of minutes. The chicken soup dish totally lacked of flavor. It's like water with spice rather than broth. Each dish was served with 3 small side dishes that they call "banchan" in Korean. This time we had a mixed mash potato that tasted similar to Russian potato salad, kimchi and the third one was something like cabbage stir-fried in sesame oil. - dessert of the day: chocolate cake, not bad but a bit heavy and sweet to our taste especially after a bowl of bibimbap, would be nicer with a simple creme anglais to accompany the cake to give more moisture Very spacious, clean and bright room, very Korean style. Friendly service. The lunch menu was totally a good deal.

Everything about IDAM was absolutely amazing! While the wait time for taking our order and serving the starters was a bit long—around 30 minutes in total—it was definitely worth it. The starters were so generous in portion size that they could easily pass for a main dish. We were already full by the time the mains arrived and could barely taste them, but they were incredible. We ended up taking the rest to go and enjoyed it later. The food was exceptional, the ambiance fantastic, and the staff incredibly friendly. One staff member even noticed my curiosity about the sides and took the time to explain each one in detail, which I really appreciated. A truly memorable experience, and I’m already looking forward to going back!

As I discovered this wonderful, delicious Korean restaurant IDAM in Paris 15eme when they opened summer 2020, IDAM became my favorite restaurant!  The Owner and the staff are so friendly and positive and the service is TOP!  You can be sure to enjoy the delicious Korean food with a beautiful smile and amazing service and also you can even feel the positivity from even entering the restaurant. During this COVID confinement, you can trust them with Seoul style Korean food every day in Paris.  They are open 7 days a week for Lunch and Dinner. Their home-made KIMCHI is just so special!  You will get it with any dish you order.  They really choose great and fresh ingredients and cook them as home-made style with impeccable effort and care!  The food has been absolutely wonderful from preparation to presentation! Everything has been exquisite.

I hope the confinement is over soon so that I can enjoy the restaurant experience in-person again in IDAM!  However, until then, I will continue to trust them with my Korean appetite with delivery services! I highly...

Worst experience. I ordered from Uber eats. When I picked up my food the waiter at counter he was so rude attitude towards me not kind at all but rudeness how ignorant and disrespectful and uneducated I never expected this kind of behavior from Korean restaurant I’m Korean and lived so many different countries but this is worst experience when Korean wants eat Korean food in overseas

Edit How he was rude, when I said pick up for Hyejin and then he said what’s Hyejin? And I said Uber eats I ordered it Uber eats and he said what? You wanna take away?

I am so shocked this whole situation. You should learn how to talk to customer with sorry? Pardon me? Excuse me? He was jus whole rudeness with annoying expressions with his face and tones I was dumbfounded and thinking what’s wrong with him

I was calm whole time, and the other male staff wasn’t helpful

I went back and tell this story to another female staff and she apologized and refund me

I hope this not happens to anyone and especially...
