Our group of 6 stayed here in Sept for 6 nights. I would not recommend this place. Urban flat 69 on saint-appoline. Reasons: -They didn’t give proper instructions on how to get in. It was confusing. -they said elevator but we couldn’t get it to work. It’s quite a few stairs to go up. Hard with luggage. -Air conditioning was not available. Remote could not be found. Said they would order a new one. That never happened. We were there for 6 nights. Luckily it was cool and could keep windows open. -everyone’s windows are open. The flat backs into the courtyard. Could hear people laughing and having fun til late night. The walls looked dirty/mouldy. -the front had people hanging around at all times of the night. Even when local hair salon was closed. A little scary for a woman who’s getting back to flat alone. -patch jobs for repairs. Bathroom had what looked like papier-mĂąchĂ© covering holes in windows. Garbage can didn’t have the inside pail so couldn’t use it. No place to hang or put stuff in shower or nearby. Like a towel or shampoo etc. a couple of hooks here and there would have made a big difference. - one of the bathrooms had a shower sink but no toilet. There were 2 others but would have been handy to have another with a big group. The place says for 12-15? That would have been crazy. -my bed was questionable and I wasn’t sleeping so soundly. I found the duvet cover all bunched up underneath. The top was flatten so looked ok but it was disturbing when pulled down the duvet. I questioned why this would be like this? Did they not clean the sheets? I don’t know. I just didn’t feel great about it. -There was no side tables in my bedroom which would have been great to use for phone charging and putting my stuff on. I guess this is a cultural thing. Idk. -minimal hangers and no place to rest the luggage. No hooks. Made it harder than needed to be. -there was a common area which had a long table and 2 long sofas and a tv that worked. This is where I gave them the star. Overall would not recommend.

Beware - Not suitable for renting to public: Very unclean and dangerous. The apartment has quite obviously not been cleaned in a very long time and the bathroom is revolting - both the sink and shower drains are blocked, the shower tiles are filthy, as is the rest of the bathroom - including the walls. The hairdryer has melted from overheating. We asked for drains to be unblocked twice, but this was not done - the technician looked and said he would return, which he did, but didn't attempt to unblock the drains. The staircase looks like it will collapse: there is a piece of wood screwed into the the large floor gap at the top of the spiral staircase - the fixings were broken and wall was cracked where it was fixed, so could a huge potential danger if stood on - a person would fall through to lower floor. The electrical wall sockets had come out of the walls exposing the cables and are dangerous - these were supposedly fixed by a technician whilst we were there, but sparks came from one when used afterwards. The cooktop made a popping noise and stopped working. The rest of the apartment is also shabby: Kitchen tools and equipment are either broken or inadequate - the microwave plate does not turn, so can't heat up/cook food adequately. there are no handles on pans, no oven tray, knife handle falls off, freezer needs defrosting. The portable air conditioners are ineffective and very noisy. Tiles on the floor are broken. One of the front windows was cracked. This was concerning as the alleyway did not feel like a safe place to be at night - lots of people hanging around. The 'pillows' are lumpy Ikea cushions. This apartment was booked through Booking.com who also contacted the agency in order to obtain compensation due to the unhygienic and unsafe conditions in the apartment. Booking.com acknowledged the issues were unacceptable but the agency refused to engage regarding compensation. The apartment is certainly not suitable for renting out.

Worst experience ever. Too bad that I can't give them 0 stars. So, first of all, they gave us the wrong keys. They forgot to give us the badges to enter the building. They didn't say that the 'appartement '..no 178 to be precise, is in fact a cave under the stairs. It's only the day we arrived that they send us a video with the instruction, where you can see in the screen captures how creepy it is the acces to the such called appartement. Finally, someone responded at our call (it was 22 o'clock already and we had a 3 year old child with us), and we got our keys. Once we entered the appartament, we sented the smell of mold. During all night, we couldn't sleep, cause it was no air, no ventilation, no windows, nothing. My boyfriend had an asthma attack and the child also, breathing problems, because of the mold and needed to be taken at the hospital. We called the next day the agency and demanded another appartament. It was like we were talking by ourselves. They sayed that they never had any problem until us and maybe it's not their fault. Unbelievable...we visited Paris and we entered the appartament at midnight. 2 minutes after we entered, I heard a noise and I had the feeling that something was moving in the room (that was left empty in tge morning). I was looking to see what was going on, when a mouse appeared from under the bed. You couldn't imagine the terror of knowing that your child and your family slept with a mouse in the room, neither the efforts that we had to do to find another hotel in Paris, with a child, after midnight. And wort of it, when we called them the next day, they said that can't do anything and they will contact the landlord to see if he can do something. We heaven't heard from them since that call. So No, I DO NOT recommend anyone to have anything to do with them. It's all a big scam, they really are thieves.

We are respectfully requesting a one day refund and are also leaving one day early (based on the circumstances). We had asked to check in early and when we arrived as scheduled, the entire apartment was filthy. Absolutely disgusting. Not being able to shower and rest after over 24 hours of airline travel (we live in Hawaii), we missed our scheduled day visiting with our extended family who live in Paris. When we were finally in the apartment, we found there were no essentials. No toilet paper. No soap. No paper towels. The unit was empty of everything. One other thing, the owner did not email the keycodes and we were stuck outside in the cold and the rain with our luggage and kids for over an hour trying to get in touch with them. We were told that the keycodes would ne emailed before we arrived at noon on Friday. But they forgot to send the email. This is when we did arrive inside to find the apartment disgusting- bathrooms were so gross I don’t even want to describe how bad they were. My kids took photos. We left and used the restroom at a cafe while waiting to contact the host yet again. We called yet again to ask when we could get in and we’re told 6pm. When we re-stated that we had a confirmed noon early check in, we were told that 4pm would be the earliest it would be ready. We had left our home on Wednesday night, traveled across the globe, my wife had a migraine, and we arrived with our kids at noon. Four to six hours might not seem like a long time, but under these circumstances, it felt like an eternity. We could not shower, change our clothes, lie down, or unpack. We were stuck sitting in a restaurant. We immediately asked for a one day refund and stated that we did not want to stay the whole time. We began to make arraignments to leave one day early. I have never complained about a unit and own vacation homes myself. But this set our trip off on the wrong foot. Our request to leave a day early and refund this one day (on top of the cleaning fee) is more than reasonable. We are not asking for anything else. Please confirm asap as we are booking another air Bnb for tomorrow nite and respectfully ask for s refund for tomorrow nite that we prepaid here. Pls confirm asap. (Also, please note that the hot water heater is so hot that it can burn someone. Just a suggestion. And the heater in the master bedroom is either way too hot or way too cold. You may want to adjust this. We go to bed cold and wake up each morning at 1-2 am sweating. Just some notes to make the stay better for others I would rather send these suggestions to the owner as opposed to posting as this can be fixed.). please read new message. This has gone on too long. We request 1 night plus the cleaning fee DO NOT...
