I visited here first with my friend who highly recommended this place. My first time trying Turkish food it was delicious and the lady who served us was very nice. I nearly cried today cause they were temporary closed until 2025-08-10 but I will be back again.

Unglaublich lecker und preislich mit 6,50 € für einen großen Dönerteller auch top. Nur zu empfehlen! 👍 Leider kein Lieferdienst. Der Salat vom Dönerteller ist wirklich sehr lecker und frisch. Kann als Tipps nur nennen sowohl die Joghurt als auch die Knoblauchsauce zu nehmen und eventuell zu verlangen, dass erst das Dönerfleisch und dann die Pommes serviert werden, damit die Pommes nicht so weich sind 😊 Lagentechnisch muss man aus der Altstadt kommend "den Berg hoch" - aber lohnt sich alles in allem.

Gibt in Mainz und Umgebung keinen Döner mit besserem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Keine Ahnung was die negative Bewertung wegen den "Bedienungen" sollen - es gibt keine Bedienungen, es gibt die Besitzerin, und die ist derart nett, dass man sich vielleicht mal persönlich hinterfragen sollte, was man selbst falsch gemacht hat, wenn die unfreundlich wird.

Das Ding ist ne absolute Mainzer Institution, ich komm seit über 20 Jahren immer wieder gerne hin, wenn ich in der Ecke bin. Es ist lecker, es ist sauber, es ist verhältnismäßig günstig und es ist halt ne Dönerstube, kein Restaurant, aber man kann super...
