Tuning Bar&Burger — Restaurant in Budapest

If you're a burger aficionado like me and find yourself in Budapest, "Tuning Burger" is an absolute must-visit! From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The restaurant's vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff set the stage for what turned out to be an exceptional lunch experience.

The menu at "Tuning Burger" boasts an impressive array of burger choices, catering to both classic burger lovers and those seeking more adventurous options. Whether you prefer a simple, classic cheeseburger or crave the indulgence of the luxurious Kobe Wagyu burger, they have something to satisfy every burger craving.

I opted for the "Beef Heaven" burger, and let me tell you, it lived up to its heavenly name! The beef patty was cooked to perfection, exuding juiciness and flavor in every bite. It was evident that the chefs take great pride in using high-quality ingredients, as the burger was a delightful symphony of tastes and textures. The carefully selected toppings and condiments complemented the beef beautifully, creating a balanced and delicious burger that left me yearning for more.

One unique aspect of "Tuning Burger" that impressed me was the interactive cooking experience. Being able to watch my burger being prepared on a TV screen added an enjoyable touch to the overall meal.

Beyond the fantastic food, the staff at "Tuning Burger" deserves special mention. They were not only knowledgeable about their menu but also went above and beyond to ensure every guest felt welcome and well-cared-for throughout their visit. Their passion for burgers and hospitality was evident, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable.

POOR HYGIENE! Bad for vegetarian and chicken.

"The Grillfather" as his apron said would be wearing disposable gloves, touch raw beef then everything else in the kitchen, sliced cheese (sorting into pot), chicken, vegetables, his own protein shaker... While having raw beef hands he also dipped into a vegetable pot (think jalapenos) for a quick snack.

A returned order on a wooden board was also placed onto the vegetable chopping board.

Lots of cross contamination going on here, need to get better!

Note that all the workers in the kitchen were snacking all nice, saw a few chips eaten off a plate, eating out of the storage buckets etc.

FOOD: 14,000 two burgers chips and one drink.

Beef burger was decent, flavour, texture etc.

Chicken burger was not seasoned, no flavour, and seemed to be really chewy or not good quality in bits being very off putting to eat, didn't get finished.

Chips are okay, they are not potato wedges as listed, and I believe they are frozen store bought? Seasoned reasonably well.

Served quickly for order, burgers sat on the side for a while before being served, while we also saw the bald worker pick chips off plates before they went out as he dished up.

For the price, not worth th...

Let me start by saying that I wish I could’ve given this place 5 stars. Unfortunately, the team didn’t manage to bring out the food the way it’s supposed to come out - even after multiple tries. Walking into the place, I expected three relatively simple things: 1) a medium cooked burger (the menu says all are cooked to medium unless asked for differently), 2) hot fries, 3) decent speed.

Unfortunately, my initial burger came out really well-done and the fries were cold. The owner was very friendly and the team went for another try. The second time the fries were perfect but the burger was raw to rare. I asked if they could just cook the patty for another minute. The owner explained that they had just gotten a new stove that they didn’t know yet a day ago. After waiting for quite some time, I was presented with an entirely new burger again (the owner insisted that they really want to get it right and just cooking the patty for a little more time was not an option). Unfortunately, that burger was once again very well done (see pic). I then just stuck with it.
