If you’re looking for delicious halal food done right, don’t miss out. This place has some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. Not only that, the selection of food you can order is extensive, and options for food makes it so that every meal you order can be personalised to you. No joke, the menu felt like I was opening a book, it was pretty thick. Now, about the food, the burgers are a must have. Coming in either beef or chicken, they don’t only offer your classic white bread bun but also black bread buns too (as seen in my pictures). It tasted amazing. And the sweet potato fries (though I normally hate them) were such good sides to pair with the burger. Honestly a 10/10 when you mix everything together. The steak on the other hand was pretty good, there was a big portion size for the price so no complaints there, but I can say I’ve had better. Don’t get me wrong there was some good flavour when eaten with the peppercorn sauce but I think for a grand place like this it could’ve been more intense. With that said, still do try some, it’s definitely not a bad meal, just comparatively for me I would go elsewhere if I was singularly looking for steak. Now onto the drinks, they have a selection of coffees, teas, non-alcoholic beverages and alcoholic beverages alike. I ordered the energy d’pina which was amazing, mixing red bull with pineapple and a coconut froth was chefs kiss. They have some great combos so try something new, I’m sure you’ll be pleasantly surprised. For Shisha, I didn’t order any, but I did see many people who did, it smelt pretty good so I’m sure there’s plenty of good flavours to choose from. They offer your standard tobacco/charcoal shisha with different packages too depending on how long you want to use it and whether you would like some treats with it too. For fine tuning, Eden Lounge also does deliveries. Yes, they do deliveries. And if you’re thinking, “wait, do they deliver Shisha too?”, then the answer is yes too. No joke, if you open the first couple pages of the menu you’ll see exactly that, you can order you’re food and if you order Shisha too they’ll preheat it so then when they get to you it’ll be ready to smoke. Now that’s a really good service. For some additional info, the first page of the menu shows you some ground rules which I find very respectable as you don’t see many places do this. It comes with your basic few: no drunk dancing, no showing off your feet, no having your feet up whilst people are eating etc. so for that I admire Eden Lounge. However the only nag I have is that some people didn’t exactly abide by the rules, but that’s it. Now please, try out this place, they mix everything perfect about a fine dining meal and make...
Read moreUsually everything is very nice. But 25th of June, the girl server brought me a bill. I payed with card. Receipt didn’t go out. And she just ran upstairs with my card said nothing…
I followed her… there she was with manager I said that you are not suppose to take my card and run away with it… they didn’t say any apologies… ok.
After that they offered to pay 1 more time… as they said it was no receipt = no payment.
I payed…
After that I asked to check if it was only 1 transaction or two….
They said 1… I asked again. Thay became rude and start talking only Indonesian and didn’t answered for me….
In the end I just walked away to the table, found the history of translations and saw that it was 2 same payments instead of 1.
So I showed that to other personal that was on shisha area, they were very friendly. And they said by themselves it to the manager and server.
After some time this server girl brought me the cash for 1 transaction and gave in rude way with no explanation or anything else….
Very strange…. Usually it’s...
Read morePretty bad experience here. We came in, told them twice we wanted a shisha, they sat us in the shisha area, I even told the waiter again — but no one ever called the shisha guy. Looking back, maybe that was for the best, otherwise we’d have been stuck here even longer.
Food was disappointing. We ordered two dishes — the risotto rice was bitter, undercooked, and hard. I had chicken with rice, but it was super dry, tasted old (like reheated leftovers), and looked nothing like the photo. I reordered something else, which was okay, but by then the evening was already ruined. The “summer salad” was also bad — dry tomatoes, cucumbers cut with the centers removed so there was barely any taste. Very bland, even salt didn’t help.
On top of that, the teapot and cups were quite dirty, with tea stains inside. Prices for food are above average. We’ve been to their branch in Bukit and everything was fine there, but in Ubud it’s clearly not the same. Considering all this, I’d recommend finding another place nearby if you’re...
