People here will give you a huge price at first. And they love targeting innocent and stupor young tourists. Price for sarong around 40-50k is reasonable so try to bargain. Other small magnets can be bought with 70k for 10 pieces as I tried successfully there. This place is the best. Ignore the tourist-trap stores on the main street , you can find all the same stuff here but for 1/2 price.

I generally dislike bargaining but it’s part of the culture here. They will usually start with a price that is 2x more than fair. So you offer 1/4 what they ask & meet in the middle. You get a great price & they get a fair profit. Everyone wins.

Just remember to be kind. The people here are the sweetest, some are much older. So it’s fine to overpay $1-2 for an item, it will mean more to them...
