Lynked Restaurant — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

I rarely write reviews but tonight I had to write about how outstanding the meal was at Lynked yesterday. Put simply, it was one of the best meals I have ever had.

First off, the restaurant is super cool, lighting great, staff attentive, atmosphere good. I also like what they have with the menu, offering a “taster menu” with a different small cocktail to drink alongside the small dishes that you wish to eat.

Now for the special event - the food. I don’t think I have ever eaten in a restaurant where every dish was, or close to, perfect. Bearing in mind we shared 6 mains and 2 desserts, it was unbelievably good.

My 3 highlights were the lava chicken, the pork belly and the duck breast. They were out of this world, to also have the drinks work so well with them too is a fantastic achievement. It shows a real attentiveness to the detail from the restaurant team. We also very much enjoyed the lobster, beef tenderloin and sliders.

We were dazzled by the desserts too - the 5-way chocolate cake & the salted caramel espresso dishes were exceptional.

If you are planning to spend time in Ubud you HAVE to visit this place. The quality of the food wouldn’t be out of place in a Michelin restaurant somewhere, it sounds exaggerated but I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Compliments to the kitchen team for a...

Food is very good and they did a special order for us. We like their salted mushroom, so even if it is not on their menu, they did it for us, very good.

BUT, I only gave a 1 for service because of a very weird lady in their team. She absolutely treated me and my partner in a different way. She was very rude to me, and when I asked about the mushroom, she said they only have shimeji, but actually they have 3 different types of mushrooms. She didn’t understand what I was talking, I was more than happy to explain everything I can because English is not my first language, neither hers. But she was so impatient about me. HOWEVER, she was super sweet when she was talking to my partner. I don’t want to use “flirt”, but the way she talked to my partner was like that.

I hope she could have some training on how to treat everyone in the same way, at least polite. We went there twice, the first time she did that, I didn’t even realise, but feel bit uncomfortable. It was too obvious in the second time.

Anyway she was rude to me twice, I still recommend the food, and other people in the team...

📍Located in the center of Ubud. Stylish interior, cozy atmosphere and very very tasty food.

🍱 The main menu items are traditional Indonesian cuisine, made in a modern version with the preservation of traditions and the best taste.

🪑 Large spacious space. You can to sit both outside and inside. Bar with a big selection of cocktails and drinks. Wine room. 🍷

🦆 Bebek Bumbu Bali incredibly tender duck. moderately spicy and juicy.

🥩 Beef rendang - one of the best beef dishes on the island, I highly recommend it. The meat melts in your mouth leaving an incredible taste.

🐓 Sate ayam - juicy chicken combined with sauces is wonderful.
