Read moreOops? More like opps. Staff theft beware! Been in Bali for a very long time and I always say service is amazing, but not here at oops! Came into oops for a quick soda. I needed to use the restroom, so I left my very filled bag (with my AirPods very deep inside) on the table I was seated at (I took my wallet and phone with me). Returned from the restroom, quickly finished my soda and left the establishment.
I received a notification that I had left my AirPods at oops. Which was strange because I didn’t take them out at the venue. I checked my bag and no AirPods were found.
I returned to the establishment, expecting the friendly faces I saw earlier, but they were not so friendly. Actually all of them, excluding one, were rude and dismissive. I asked them if they had seen my AirPods and “no one had”
I was searching alone for over 40 minutes. Luckily I used the “find my” app on my phone, which lets you know if you’re near or far. Eventually i found them, where were they? In a locked cabinet (that only staff had access to) full of cleaning supplies, at the bottom of a small basket filled with plastic bags and lids.
As I left, the one and only helpful staff member asked me where I found it, and I showed him and he was very, very apologetic. Obviously he understood what had happened, as I did not have access to such cabinet, and he saw everyone claim they...
