All I wanted was to purchase a pair of gloves for Christmas and 3 of their staff were completly ignoring me clearly searching and confused in the shop. I finally approached one of the woman and asked if she knows English, to which she said no (with a clear attitude). Very hard to believe she didn't speak any English and works in front of the Duomo (field with tourists). Anyhow, I tried mimicking what I am looking for (gloves, which is an easy item to understand I would think) and she just said no. I persisted and finally used Google translate. To which she was convinced they didn't have and walked away. She had dark hair and was quite young. I ended up going to the cashier and asked and she pointed them out to me and was very nice to me. Needless to say I didn't purchase from this store with this customer experience. Overpriced items and terrible service. I've never written a 1 star review... It's a first and hopefully once in a...
Read moreWe bought some jerseys & T-shirts from this location in Florence. We asked for a tax refund as we were visiting Italy & leaving to go back home in a few days. When I arrived back home, I called the store & explained to the manager what they had done. I asked if they could refund the tax portion back to my credit card but he refused. Wasn't happy with their service, they need to pay more attention. Although she had my passport in front of her the clerk still misspelled my name, very...
Read moreWent into this shop after walking all day to try and find some new socks or sandals for my aching/blistered feet. The gentleman at the door was welcoming but the lady that checked us out was extremely rude. I greeted her with a friendly 'Buonasera!' and she immediately gave me a death stare and took my money. I then said, "Grazie! Ciao!" And she gave me another death stare without saying anything. As I walked away another customer (Italian man) greeted her and she was all smiles.
