Terrible experience for older people. Today I was with my grandparents age 75 and 76. It was very hot and we decided to buy some orange juice for them. I was buying the orange juice and meanwhile my grandparents were sitting outside. It is obvious to say that they are old people with difficulty to move they took sit place outside just to wait for me. The line was long and the service slow and shallow. Meanwhile one of your waitresses asked my poor grandparents in a non appropriate tone to leave the table. They don’t speak Italian and they were confused of what was going on. I told the waitress that they were with me and that I was buying for them an orange juice. She seemed to understood. Nevertheless when I finally brought their orange juice and they started to drink it the same waitress came and now very aggressively told my grandparents to leave !!!! I told her that I bought them the orange juice. She didn’t understand or have a little bit of consideration for my grandparents. She persisted that they cannot sit there. After a little bit another of your waitress came also very aggressively ignoring that he was talking to old and tired people. We demanded for an explanation and he said we had to pay to stay outside. No one of your staff members explained that politic before. They have 0 experience in dealing with old people. It was an awful moment for my grandparents and it is a shame for you. I hope you read me and change your politics and get better. Your customers are your must valuable asset, treat them as...

After reading the reviews on here we were a little hesitant to visit, but as our hotel is only steps away and all of the treats looked so tempting, we decided it was worth a visit. And we are so glad we did! I really can’t understand the negative reviews, our experience is the complete opposite to these. We had a perfect visit, no complaints at all. The service we received from all of the staff was excellent, but especially Emanuele who was our table server, he was an absolute delight, so helpful and friendly. We asked to sit in and were advised to take a seat and it was table service, otherwise if you are takeaway you order at the counter. They had music playing in the background which was nice, and the atmosphere was laid back and lovely. There are plenty of tables inside and out. We each had a large cannoli and caramel iced cafe latte, both of which we felt were superb. The other drinks and food we saw being served looked equally delicious. In fact, we have just come from the cafe and written this review straight away we loved it so much, and we will definitely be visiting again tomorrow before our return...

The coffee was excellent, and the cannolo was nice, but the saff are extremely rude and unprofessional. My wife and I bought a drink, a cannolo classico, and an ice cream to sit down / dine in, and when I sat, the waiter immediately came out and spoke to me very rudely and very publicly. He stated that I didn't pay the correct price to sit down and that the server would have asked me if I wanted to dine in or take away, and then said we would have to leave. I can confirm that I was not asked this by the server inside, and I had every intention of sitting down to eat and drink. I declared this, and the waiter went to speak to the server who lied and said that she asked me. She did not ask! The waiter returned and said we would have to leave.. I declared again that she didn't ask me and told him he was being really rude. He just turned and walked away from my wife and I. Having been publicly embarrassed, we had to walk away with our goods while other customers were watching and listening. As a tourist, I would recommend that other tourists who value good customer service...

Best cannoli we’ve ever had. The hazelnut, chocolate and white chocolate ones are so amazing. Didn’t get to try the pistachio :(.. I’ve been to this cafe 4 times (once a year ago and 3 just recently). My favorite was the white chocolate cannoli. It’s sweet and is amazing if you like white chocolate. The texture for all of them is thick and smooth. The shell is crunchy and just right. We spent around $40 there just on cannolis. Only 6 total cannolis though!… That is the downside… This place is quit pricy. I believe it was 6€ for 1 cannoli (the bigger one) which is not cheap at all. Everything there is very expensive, for example, a small tiramisu was 7€. Personally the cannolis were worth every penny though.

Terrible service. If you want to eat in the restaurant you have to wait until someone cares to take your order. I was happy to queue and order but I was told I need to sit and wait. The waiter, who does not have any clue and doesn't really care came and said I have to wait. I waited for 10 minutes, and when he finally approached me, I said I was not interested in ordering, and I would go, he rolled his eyes, and it was just so rude. The problem in that square is that tourists as seen as commodities; there is no respect and customer service, and tourists are just a source of money. I wish no one would experience what I had experienced.

I’ve seen Don Nino pop up in countless Florence food videos on social media, so I was excited to try it for myself. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The cannoli was one of the worst I’ve had, and it felt like a very touristy spot. Situated right next to the Duomo, it’s no surprise that it caters to crowds looking for a quick bite, but the quality just didn’t match up to the price or the reputation. If you're in Florence, I’d recommend skipping this one. There are definitely better options for cannoli in the city that don’t fall into the tourist trap.
