Bar Stazione — Local services in Riomaggiore

We stopped by this café on a scorching day (over 35°C) looking for a quick break and a bit of shade with our baby while waiting on the train. We purchased two bottles of water and sat down at one of the completely empty outdoor tables. Despite there being no other customers outside, we were told we couldn't sit there because we "only" ordered water.

We understand if seating is limited during busy times, but the terrace was completely empty, and we clearly needed a moment to cool down with a baby. The staff showed no flexibility or understanding, and we were asked to leave. A little kindness would have gone a long way. Sadly, we won't...

Such rude staff. We tried to order 2 coffees and were told to walk to another part of the counter. We asked for 2 coffees there and were scolded by the owner for ordering 2 more coffees. We politely tried to explain that we were told to step down and we didn’t think the original woman took our order. She just continued to scold us like children. I told her she was rude and nasty and she made sure to tell us it was her bar. Fantastic you own the world’s rudest establishment. Don’t visit here unless you are sadistic and like to be yelled at while paying for food...

I paid (6 euros) for a watermelon juice they never gave me!! They forgot part of my order (a watermelon juice) and when I reminded them I had been waiting for 10 minutes and was still waiting for it they asked me to pay for it (6 euros). At first I thought I they hadn't understood when I ordered and that I hadn't actually paid for it.
