Edit on January 3, 2024: I have received the feedback from the owner, and I appreciate that. Let me make it clear. I was not upset by the fact that I did not get the discount I was negotiating; I was upset because the way the sale assistant treated us at the checkout. She did not care to say anything to us or simply a thank you. We did buy a lot of stuff anyway.
Original post: I did not go to other nearby places so I could not verify other comments about them selling at higher prices, but their stuff are cool.
Negative: Staff was very rude and cold, they did not greet us or offer help. When I tried bargaining the price (buy 2 items for cheaper prices), an employee (an Asian girl) said no and gave us a look like we donāt know how to do math. When we checked out she did not say a word but showed us a calculator of how much in total. A Caucasian couple were right after us and the girl was smiling and greeting them. You may say Iām sensitive, but I felt that we were not treated unfairly by the girl....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreProbably the best souvenir shop that you can find in Rome. Exactly in the center of the most beautiful, fascinating and romantic square I've ever been: Piazza Navona. The stuff is mostly domestic and hand-maded. So if you want to get a real piece of Italy with you, then this giftshop is your choice. I was so captivated by the colorful ceramics from different regions of Italy, Tuscany, Sicily, Umbria and also the variety of their chessboards, with plenty figures choices. Basically there's a wide range of products but I fell in love with their collection of wooden music boxes.
The sellers and staff are super competent, and if you'll ask them something about the products, you'll hear a story about, how this product was made, why and how it is connected with Italy. But the best part of this, that impressed me, is really the kindness of the staff and the owner. I will definitely recommend your shop to my friends who plan to visit Rome.
Thank you...

The spoon rest was not an expensive item but meant a lot to her. I sent an email to L'Atiganato and then called the next day to verify they received. I was able to communicate in English the details of the spoon rest and I was sent a picture to verify I was purchasing the same spoon rest. I bought the rest through email correspondence and it arrived at my Florida address in three days. The spoon rest was packed and labeled very well so it arrived in tact. Very pleased with the service I received from...
