I always buy my notebooks, pens, toothbrush at Muji and I do love this brand, but the service at this location is very strange and I find not very customer friendly. I came in to pick up a new notebook and when I went to pay with a €20, the cashier asked me if I had anything smaller. I didn’t and she asked me if I can pay by card, I said no and she was annoyed and rolled her eyes at me looking around at her colleague, but then she magically found the change. Read moreI have always enjoyed shopping at MUJI in other countries, where the staff are polite and helpful. Unfortunately, my experiences at the MUJI store in Via Garibaldi, Torino, have been very disappointing.
On 19/09/2025 in the afternoon, a staff member was rude to me for using my own tote bag while shopping, saying it caused confusion. There are no signs in the store indicating that customers cannot use their own bags, and the situation could have been resolved politely with a simple question.

We waited to come in but we are a family of 3 people. So we came in together after other people had left. We were very rudely asked by a female cashier to only come one by one.
