Cute little shop away from the overpriced, tourist-trap gold stores on Piazza San Marcos. Worked with a very kind man (assuming maybe the co-owner or manager), and although his English wasn’t perfect, he attempted small talk with us, asking how we liked Venice, where we were visiting from, etc. He was not pushy and I never felt obligated to buy anything, but ended up leaving with a gold Miraculous Mary Medal. Fatto tanto piacere passare alcuni momenti nella presenza di una maestranza sempre piu rara nel mondo moderno. Non perdere l'opportunita di visitare questo piccolo brillante, uno dei pochissimi gioielli che rimane di un tesoro culturale imparagonabile creato dalla grande Venezia del passato. Purtroppo anche questo bel negozio e circondato dagli ennesimi venditori forestieri di robaccia, falsa, finta, furfantesca... La poera Venezia va saccheggiata da un barbarismo veramente vergognoso mentre il Comune e lo stato Italiano - mi sembra (forse pero implicato) - avvertono gli occhi. Una cultura del mar assolutamente unica, dolce, raffinata, un artigianato stupendo, sono oggi quasi distrutti. Se i Veneziani fossero stati un popolo della giungla oppure delle paludi della Tigride, l'intero mondo avrebbe gridato giustamente "Stop! Salviamoli". Ma loro non sono che Europei - vittime di un "Europa" (cosidetta) ignorante e prepotente e di un globalismo stampato Burger King Made in China e Bangladesh.
