The BAPE store in Harajuko is a prime example of how excellent products can be overshadowed by a dreadful shopping experience. While the brand’s offerings are undeniably top-notch, the way customers are treated in this location leaves much to be desired.
Firstly, the staff’s attitude is outright rude. Their behavior comes across as dismissive and unwelcoming, making the whole experience uncomfortable from the moment you step in. The store has a bizarre policy of not allowing customers to try on T-shirts, which is frustrating, especially when sizing can be tricky. Additionally, you're not even allowed to carry multiple items for comparison—everything seems designed to make the shopping process as inconvenient as possible.
The rigid, almost militaristic way the staff enforces rules is another issue. They demand that customers queue in an unnecessarily tight line at the cashier, with everyone expected to be a mere millimeter away from the person in front. What’s more frustrating is the arbitrary way the staff chooses who gets to skip the line and go to a second register, leaving others feeling singled out and overlooked.
In conclusion, while BAPE's products are fantastic, the shopping experience at their Omotesando store is far from it. The combination of rude staff, strange policies, and the uncomfortable atmosphere makes it difficult to enjoy the process of purchasing their items. If you love the BAPE brand, you're better off buying from malls where the staff is friendlier and the shopping experience is much...
Read moreI recently visited the BAPE Store in Harajuku, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the vibrant, urban atmosphere that BAPE is known for, with its unique blend of street style and cutting-edge fashion. The store was well-organized and full of the latest collections, making it easy to find exactly what I was looking for.
But what truly made my visit exceptional was the fantastic customer service provided by Mametsuka. From the moment I stepped in, Mametsuka was attentive and eager to help, guiding me through the store and providing insightful recommendations based on my style preferences. Their knowledge of the products and passion for the brand really stood out, making the shopping experience both fun and informative.
Mametsuka went above and beyond to ensure I found exactly what I needed. They were patient, took the time to answer all my questions, and even helped me put together a few outfits that I absolutely love. It’s not often that you come across someone who genuinely cares about making sure you have the best possible experience, and Mametsuka did just that.
Overall, my visit to the BAPE Store Harajuku was fantastic, thanks in large part to Mametsuka’s outstanding service. If you’re in the area and looking for some fresh new pieces to add to your wardrobe, I highly recommend stopping by and asking for Mametsuka. You won’t be...
Read moreThe customer service I received was absolutely unacceptable. The staff was not only unhelpful but also incredibly rude. They acted as if they didn’t want to be there and seemed to view customers as an inconvenience.looked me straight in my face as I staying at the counter and looked away.
Despite my patience, they showed zero interest in assisting me with my questions, and when I finally asked for help, I was met with eye rolls and sarcastic responses. It was clear they had no intention of helping me find what I was looking for, and their attitude made the entire shopping experience incredibly frustrating.
This is not the level of service you expect from a brand like BAPE.I’m seriously reconsidering shopping here again unless they address this issue promptly.
BAPE, do better. This team either needs serious retraining or to be fired. The staff memebers name was Yamazaki and he can tell you who his friend was behind the counter . 1:30pm 29th October- lucky I’m leaving Japan tomorrow will never return...
