Update: It has been a day and a part of the bow on my nail snapped off, 2 of my nails have always started chipping, and I can feel that the other boy is about to snap. I decided to make an appointment here through the hot pepper website. Honestly the service was great but I left not feeling great. The nails came pretty good because the design is cute.. My nail person was Nana. She spoke Chinese which was convenient for me. The reason I didn’t feel great leaving is because she charged me extra for everything. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m a tourist but it really felt like she was trying to charge whatever she could. First she charged me 1,000 extra for changing to a MORE expensive design. Then she charged me 2,000 to remove my gel when it was originally only supposed to be 1,000. She actually said this to me before she started my appointment and at the end she said no it’s 2,000 actually cause it’s not our design. She should’ve have stated that when she first noticed. And then finally I chose the Pochacco design they posted a picture of. So on the ring finger it comes with 3 gems so I asked her if I could just have the one she didn’t put on my finger cause technically I’m paying for it since the whole design is one price. And she said no. So I asked her if she could subtract the price of the gems then and she said no cause obviously it doesn’t benefit them. Don’t be fooled by the cheap prices online because you’ll probably be paying more than that. Also she didn’t fully remove my old gel. Just shaved off what she could and just put new gel on top. She even used a nail clipper to clip off my old gel and this left lesions everywhere. This is in response to the owner’s response: Sorry I meant to say you charged me 2,000 extra. 1,000 for changing my package from b to c which took the same amount of time and on top of that was expensive. I have changed it. Regardless I think that’s a stupid charge. That’s not even mentioned on the website when booking. Also I’ve never had anyone charge me to change to a more expensive package at anywhere. For a cheaper package I would totally understand but not a more expensive one. Then for gel removal. Even if I did express concern I could already tell Nana would have said no. Also like you said I paid for the entire package set. So I should technically be entitled to the gems on there whole set. This I understood was a weird request so I let it go but then when she told me about the removal extra charge I was already over it. We agreed on a price in the beginning and then you add on more? That doesn’t make sense. This should have been brought up when you noticed you would be charging me more just like how they noticed my nail was shorter and asked me if it was ohkay to charge extra for lengthening the nail before you did it not after when I already have no choice. The removal wasn’t done correctly as a professional would there were lesions that were left on my natural nail when cutting off the gel with a nail clipper. Your response would’ve been more well received if you were more sincere.

It was so nice! Lisa did my nails and she was so kind — I appreciated her time and the care she took to do my nails. I think they’re so cute and she let me change the color of a design I chose, very happy with the end result :)

I just left the shop, and the quality of the manicure is excellent. As a male and a foreign tourist with limited proficiency in Japanese, I felt very comfortable in the pleasant atmosphere of the nail salon. The staff who assisted me were attentive and professional. I believe I will choose to visit here again the next time I...
