I've always been to Roppongi shop and it was good. But because of Covid19 Roppongi is closed and we decided to come to Ginza. Shop staff was very polite waiting on the first floor to take temperature before entering. Pre-caution work is well done.
Before starting, we were asked many questions like where we want our massage to be focused on. I was with my friend so we have our own preference. However, when the massage started, the massage was identical and for myself I wanted more on my hamstring but it was not done. So, I felt it was meaningless to ask so many questions in the beginning.
During massage, a few times the therapist knocked into my hand while walking around the bed. It was not a soft knock, by the way. She seemed very clumsy and never even said sorry. Even though I did not care too much, I expected Olive Spa to be careful about details like this.
When I was facing up, I had a cloth to cover my eyes from the lights. However, when the cloth went to my forehead and exposing my eyes, she never even pull it down. So I was staring at the light all the time. Of course I could have told her but I just shut my eyes.
Before the massage, I told her I do not want my left hand massaged because I had an operation before. In the beginning she remembered and never work on my left hand but near to the end she forgot and kept massaging my left hand. I was surprised but since it was not hard I just let her be.
For my friend, her therapist was very weak and my friend asked her a few times to use more strength but she did not, or could not. One time my friend fell asleep but when she woke up she said the massage was just like touching and not pressing. Her therapist also knocked into her leg and hand a few times. We both find this to be very surprising because usually Olive Spa therapists are very careful and are not clumsy like that. Also they walked very loudly in the room and I think it does not suit Olive Spa image.
Even though they are both very nice and polite therapist, I think they are trainees and not up to standard. Olive Spa is always careful about small details and give the best service. But this time, we were very disappointed. Even though we could have tell them about these small concerns but if we had to do that, how could we enjoy the massage?
I don't think we will go to Ginza shop anymore. It was disappointing and we could not enjoy. I hope our therapists train harder and pay more attention to small details if they want to be successful in...
